The Black Snake had been growing steadily, gaining new supporters and making progress in their fight against the oppressive government. But with that growth came a new set of challenges, including the risk of betrayal.
Marcus had always been cautious, careful to only trust those who had proven their loyalty. But as the movement grew, he found it harder and harder to keep track of everyone. And one day, that lack of oversight came back to bite them.
It started with a rumor. Someone had been spreading word that there was a traitor within their ranks, someone who had been feeding information to the government. At first, Marcus had dismissed it as just another attempt to undermine their cause. But then he began to hear whispers, and he knew that there was something more to it.

But when the traitor continued to deny their involvement, Marcus had no choice but to take action. He ordered their arrest, and had them brought to the underground prison they had built for just such an occasion.
It was a dark moment for the Black Snake, a reminder that even those closest to them could be turned against them. But it was also a moment of strength, a reminder that they were willing to do whatever it took to protect their cause.
As Marcus watched the traitor being taken away, he felt a mix of emotions. Anger, sadness, betrayal. But more than anything, he felt a renewed sense of determination.
