"Worse date night ever..." I crooned dryly, sipping from the mug of coffee meant to keep me awake but only left me feeling sleepier than ever.

West was a no show and the time ran faster than ever, it was nine o'clock already and still nothing, I surprised myself by still putting on my outfit.

My lipstick had faded and my hair was roughed up from all the nervous scratching.

"This was a dumb idea, his mom passed away, mom was right, he wasn't up for a date. Why did I even agree to this? Damn! Am so stupid!." I cried out, taking out my phone to make one last call for the night.

"If you don't pick this up then am grabbing the ice cream and going to bed." I announced, gripping my phone tighter, placing my hope on this one call.

I turned on my phone to call, but a knock on the door halted my movements.
