When I got home, it was no surprise to see that mom was home already. But what did come as a shock to me was seeing Luca and Brent both at my home still. My mom found them out, and made them clean up while they waited for me to come back home.

June decided to go home, get changed and get to school, not showing up would be a reckless decision, that even I agreed with.

But my mom holding them both as hostages, I did not think of.

"Where were you? And why are there two teenage boys in my living room?." Mom inquired, holding a slipper in her hand.

My hand snaked up to the back of my neck as my mind wracked up a good response.

"We were scrapbooking!." I blurted out, yeah, that sounded right, "we were digitally scrapbooking!." I added, seeing that there was no physical evidence to back up that excuse.
