章節 4: Matheo's enter
Anthor was thinking of how he should announce Matheo so that he wouldn't immediately get up and leave. He gets up and goes to his studies so that he can calmly think about how he is going to break the news to Matheo.
When Anthor got up to leave his room, it was already dark outside and his wife was having tea with his father in the living room.
Anthor immediately said to his wife" You didn't call me."
Angella replied "Oh, I guess you were thinking of ideas to announce to Mathew"
Anthor looked at her without speaking, as if his eyes were full of accusing her.
Mike said "Oh, you better have an idea as Matheo is reaching home in an hour" with a calm and full of confidence voice.
Anthor looked shocked and said" And no one bothers to say anything to me." Then he looked at his wife and said" You knew it know too."
His wife looked at him calmly and said "Why should I say something when my son is coming home?" and smiled full of happiness,
He looked at his father and gave him a look that said" Help me."
But his dad looked away as if to say "go away, you are on your own."
After an hour, they were sitting in the living room waiting for Matheo to arrive.
The door opened and a handsome young man of a height of about 6'11, calm and composed with a lot of scary auras came in. As Matheo walked in the living room, silence took over the whole house. He walked in and greeted his grandfather and parents. After greeting, he says "Are you guys talking about something?" because he heard the sound of talking outside the door. His grandfather immediately said "Matheo, your father wants to say something." Angella also said "Yes, dear, your father has something important to say ". She started to blink her eyes at her husband. Matheo looked at three of them who were blinking their eyes at each other, and he said "Oh, and what is it so important that you guys are blinking at each other so much? Beaware your eyes may be a little uncomfortable later "Listening to Matheo, Mike and Angella looked at each other and laughed embrassingly.
Then Matheo looked at his father and said "Dad, what is it?"
Anthor replied "it's nothing son, your grandfather wanted you to get married, and he has already selected the girl, so we wanted you to get married," he said in one voice without a stop and didn't even take a breath. And after finishing, he slowly started to look at his son.
Mike was silent for a while to digest all the words and the pit his son had digged for him. He also looked at his grandson and said "Calm down, Matheo. I asked Mater Flake, and he said that there was a girl in the grooke group. Her name is Aria, and she is such a sweet little girl. She is a twenty-year-old girl who has completed her higher studies and wanted to study further. I have promised them we will support her if she gets married to you." Matheo looked at his grandfather and his parents' faces that says just say yes.
Having known them from childhood, he knows that they should have been discussing this for a while now. It suddenly occurred to him about the girl's name, Aria. He recognized her at once. It was the same girl. He calmly said "what did you give them ?" asked his grandfather.
His grandfather replied "No, I'm not making a deal with them." But this explanation, Matheo was not buying it, so he kept on staring at his grandfather without blinking his eyes.
Mike looked a little embarrassed and said" I just want her father to settle his debt. Anyway, we are going to be in-laws"
Matheo said with a taunting voice "Oh, yes did you say to them, I am the one getting married?" Even though he would be saying yes in the end, but he still wanted to make sure they feel guilty of Aria because he is sure that she do not remember him. He had a feeling that she may be pressured to marry him. Then He looked at his family and said "let's have a dinner first"
Angella immediately remembered that her son was on a flight, and he came home after landing, so he must be hungry. She said to the maid, "Is the dinner ready?" The maid replied," Yes, ma'am. " She went to the chef to take the dish out on the dining table. The dishes were all Matheo's favorite food, as Angella informed the chef to make this food. She said "Let's have dinner" and she looked at Matheo and said "Son, let's go to the dining table" Matheo also got up and walked after Angella. Angella and Matheo were walking ahead, leaving Mike and Anthor. Mike looked at his son and said "You have been abandoned by your wife" and left after laughing for a while. Anthor's face was completely blackened after listening to his father's words, and he remembered his wife didn't even bother to look at him after his son came in. He knew that after his son came home his wife was not his wife, but his wife's mother's mode would be turned on. He wished his son was always on business trips. After five minutes of thinking, the maid came in and said "Sir, Dinner is ready ma'am ,young master and master are waiting for you." He went to the dining table, and he saw his wife sitting between Mike and Matheo. The seat on the opposite side of his wife's was empty. He realized that the seat was for him, and he slowly sat down in the empty chair. After he sat down, everyone started to have dinner.
After half an hour of having dinner, everyone was sitting down in the living room waiting for dessert. In the meantime, everyone was curious about Matheo's answer. Everyone knew that the possibility of him saying yes was little more because Matheo wasn't only angry, but he didn't get angry and left right after dinner. As per Matheo's habit, he listened to the news very calmly, but they were still waiting for his answer very anxiously. After waiting for a while, Matheo was calmly relying on his mail in a relaxed manner, and he didn't look like he was going to say anything at all.....
