Calming waves hit the school as everyone took care of their businesses. Kids were seen chattering with their friends early in the morning. The school bell hasn't rung yet, and students are arriving.
Carmel reached early along with Sara and was seen seated inside the classroom. They arrived together.
Bridgette sat alone in her seat. No one dared to speak to her as she released a menacing aura warning anyone who might happen to approach her. Carmel and Sara understood and gave the space to cool her head.
Just as expected, no one dared to near the blond girl.
Some of them found it weird for the gossip girls to be quiet. It sounded as if a storm is about to hit the school. Such a calming environment radiated inside the classroom.
"They were partying yesterday. What happened?"
"They are very quiet, and it's giving me the chills."
"Bridgette is looking scary. Look at her!"
"Don't talk, she might hear you. You don't want to mess with them."
A few talked about the unconvincing situation that arose early in the morning.
Just as people chatted, Lillian and her friends entered the class.
Everyone's attention turned to them.
"WHAT?"
Lillian roared and all eyes retraced.
"What the hell is wrong with these guys?" Lillian joked.
"I don't know they might have anticipated for beauty and that you entered."
Diego's response angered Lillian as they practically started air-wrestling on the way to their seats.
"Stop it, both of you, don't make me whip you the first thing in the morning," Anna ordered.
Diego and Lillian obeyed. Their match was a draw with the previous record held by Diego for most wins. Lillian Grey is one victory behind her friend. Air-wrestling has become their usual way to assist each other's strength and fighting skills.
The two ended their match with a handshake to honor both sides and as they did it a loud gasp caught their attention.
It is from Anna.
"What?" Diego and Lillian asked in chorus.
Anna shushed the two and then revealed the enticing calmness inside the classroom.
"No way," Diego said in astonishment.
"I'm damn sure one of them is planning to ruin some poor soul's life. They're waiting for the time to execute their evil plan. Mark my words."
Lillian stated.
"Maybe" Anna agreed to Lillian's argument.
The classroom went back to silent. It appeared that everyone enjoyed this peace and wished it continued.
However, the next student that entered seemed to have caught the attention of everyone inside the class including Lillian and her friends, and even the gossip girls.
Giselle walked her way into the class.
A lot of gasps echoed.
Yes, the girl wore a pastel blue dress paired with a simple pendant. Her hair neatly combed to graze on her shoulders beautifully. Her face looked natural with light makeup on her clean skin. To complete the look, she had worn matching heels. An overall gorgeous look that made her resemble an Angel, a live one.
The guys in the class admired her beauty endlessly while the girls; some of them burned in jealous upon her grace and some explored her attire.
Carmel and Sara were taken aback from Giselle's presence. Bridgette grunted in contempt.
The attraction didn't leave Lillian too as she gazed at the beauty. Lillian smiled at her look and secretly cheered for the girl to rock the style.
'She can easily become the school's top beauty.' - Lillian secretly wished.
For a while, Lillian's eyes traveled with the girl. Soon, she heard a familiar sound emerging. Lillian's heartbeat raced, the same feeling she had experienced it during the aftermath of Giselle's confession.
The same emotions revoked.
Lillian placed her hand on her heart to sense the loud sound it made. It was warm and welcoming. Just by looking at this girl, Lillian felt peaceful.
'It feels good.' -Lillian thought to herself.
"Wow, she's got a killer appearance today. Was she this beautiful?" Anna turned to report to Lillian and kept talking about newly discovered Giselle's beauty.
Meanwhile, Anna's words never entered Lillian's ears as her system was in major shutdown from gaping at Giselle's presence.
Bridgette, on the other hand, felt a burning sensation inside her. It was too hard to accept Giselle's beauty as Bridgette would often be the one to style her way around the school. Everyone knew Bridgette's love for clothes, shopping and mainly impressing everyone. She loved to be known as the school's top beauty.
But, in reality, the school never had such competitions and prizes.
Nonetheless, a girl can only dream for it to happen and Bridgette is one of them. Plus, their fight from the previous day had just happened. It made Bridgette enraged. She's seething with rage and the opportunity to ruin Giselle.
...
Mike had another class to attend. He reached first in his class and sat on his seat, tensely. His mind worked over yesterday's meeting with Bridgette. The blond girl had completely brainwashed Mike as his face revealed the distress. The suffering made him lose his way of reasoning and loomed over Bridgette's words.
Even when his friends came to greet him in the morning, Mike didn't respond. One of them mentioned to the other as Mike looked indifferent, unlike any other day they have seen him. They left Mike after receiving a weak response from him.
Just as Mike waited for the classes to commence, his mobile rang. It is a message.
From Bridgette.
(From) Bridgette - 8:43 AM
Giselle's arrived. She is- looking good today. Like a fucking princess.
Mike saw the message, and his hands quivered. He received another notification.
From Bridgette.
This time it was a picture.
When Mike opened it to see, his eyes widened in awe as it was a picture of Giselle.
Lost in Love.
He could see that Bridgette took this picture sneakily without Giselle's assent.
Mike explored the picture as if it was his last meal on the earth. His mind and heart raced over Giselle's beauty as if he felt seeing an Angel. His eyes devoured the picture continuously that he even failed to blink.
....
Giselle took her seat. Despite her show-stopping entrance, Giselle never noticed others reaction and kept her head down. As soon as she sat, a few went to chat with her and Giselle politely replied with a warming smile on her face.
Bridgette hated it all. She was texting with Mike and sending pictures of Giselle.
The time closes by when Ivy entered the class as the final person along with the teacher.
Her last-minute arrival didn't give her the joy of interacting with her friends. However, Ivy buzzed Bridgette and gave a greeting smile. Bridgette responded.
Turning back to her seat, Bridgette sent a final message to Mike before the class.
