章節 1: Chapter 1 Dinner Time
The door slams and Marconi hears
"Hey Honey, I'm home"
Marconi's father says. "Dinner's almost ready"
his Mom yells. "How's your day been?" she asks, while in her cooking apron stirring the pot.
"Its been great" says Mr. Philips, "my boss at the company started us on a new project and I'm going to be busy for the next 3 months".
"That's great", says Mrs. Philips "we are almost done with our programming project and I'll be able to send Marconi to school when it starts".
Marconi groans as he listens to this conversation. "That's OK mom, you don't need to send me on the first day of school" he complains.
"Marconi Alexander Philips you come down here right now", she yells.
"Now don't talk like that to your mother Marconi", his father chided him "she's making dinner and she'll give you an extra portion of brussel sprouts if she's not happy" .
"Not brussel sprouts", Marconi sulks. "Now, now, who says you're allowed to eavesdrop on our conversation" Mrs. Phillips says.
"What are we having for dinner?" Marconi quickly changes the topic.
"macaroni and brussel sprouts" his mother replies. "Now let's talk about getting some school supplies I heard from a few parents that the sign up sheet for classes has come out".
"Not school supplies, it's five weeks away" said Marconi. "There's a sale and if you go we'll stop by for some ice cream, how does that sound".
"Fine, but we are getting the medium fudge, double dipped, extra chocolate, vanilla milkshake, sundae" Marconi triumphantly exclaims.
"We can stop by at Fashion Atelier and pick up some clothes on the way".
"Mom, do we have to go" whines Marconi. (Marconi really doesn't like shopping).
"We need to pick up the school uniform I ordered and you need some new PJ's. If you want that ice cream we're going to Fashion Atelier".
"Fine, but I really like these PJ's grandpa gave me", said Marconi.
"Don't worry we're not getting rid of it, we are just getting you a new pair" said his mom, "Now let's eat."

Michael_v1 I know it's a short conversation, I just got bored of writing dialogues. I was thinking of including a side conversation of Marconi and his dad but I got bored.
Also
yeah I do realize Asian parenting/parenting in general isn’t that slack but let an author dream, ok.
