章節 137: Wrath’s True Form

Ath3na caught Black Howler as he toppled forward unconscious. The blood-red sword in his hands fell to the ground with an audible clang.

[ALERT! PLAYER [Black Howler Lv.3] IS IN MORTAL DANGER. DEATH IS IMMINENT WITHIN THE NEXT TEN SECONDS.]

"Serenity!" Ath3na yelled.

Serenity jogged to Ath3na's side, helping her place Black Howler on his back before attempting to heal him from the heart-crushing damage Ath3na had caused him.

Ath3na heard the sound of something rattling close by. Although she didn't turn to check it, she knew that the blood-red sword was moving around on the floor. Perhaps it was even readying to latch itself onto a new host.

"Argonaut!" Ath3na yelled. "Cyborg Ninja!"

From behind her, she heard her two companions approaching.

"It's on the move," Argonaut warned.

Greetings, fellow reapers!

Just noticed a mistake in previous chapters that I'm correcting right now. RED DEATH is not a glaive... it is a HALBERD as mentioned in its first appearances. I got confused and wrote it as a glaive. I'll go back and edit that in the near future but just wanted you guys to know. :D

That said, I hope you're all enjoying the book so far. Man, Jaybird almost had Wrath...almost. LOL. Next issue takes us away from the action in the tower to catch up with our other friends in the Abyss. ;P
