A while later, after Sage had left the tent and went looking for a place that would help her forget those beady black eyes that gazed back at her like their owner wanted to devour her whole, Sage found herself at the edge of a cliff overlooking the Abyssal Plains. To the north, at a distance even her enhanced sight couldn't completely reach, Sage taught she saw a shadow of Adventour's skyline.
It would begin soon, she thought, a war in the Abyss between the living and the dead that had probably never been seen before.
She glanced behind her to where her makeshift outpost continued to bustle with activity.
There weren't many familiar faces in the crowd as most of her operatives had gone out to train and increase their levels some more. It wouldn't do for the bulk of them to be at level one when the most loyal players of Adventour had just broken through to level four.
Greetings, fellow reapers!
Enjoy this second half of today's double release if you're on priviledged. Well, normal chapters get released twice too so it's technically the same.
Again, this is to show my appreciation for those of you who continue to support the book despite our dip in rankings... :(
Hope you can help us get back to a higher ranking before the week's end! :D
I know, why don't those of you who haven't dropped a review yet make one for us now? :D It would really help GMofS. Thanks!
