Agent Smith stepped out of the Oval Office with a smile playing on her lips. 

"Well, did the President give the go-ahead?" Dr. Morrow asked. 

"I just told him we found a new frontier that provides the framework to awaken supernatural abilities in people." She returned his gaze with a raised eyebrow. "What do you think he said?" 

"You actually managed to say all of that without choking up?" Dr. Morrow didn't sound convinced. 

She shook her head. "I said enough to get him interested… the mission is a go." 

"I don't suppose you also told him about our new partner?" Dr. Morrow pressed. 

The pair of them began walking down the white-walled, carpeted corridor. 

"There is such a thing as too much information…" Agent Smith shrugged. "Besides, would you believe me if I told you we made a deal with a god of death?" 

Dr. Morrow chuckled. "Fair point." 

They'd reached the elevators heading into the underground driveway.
