For the first time since the Luminaries began to be judged, the scales finally tipped in favor of righteous deeds. No, it wasn't because Argonaut was a saint. But it might have been because this man whose real name was Mark Sheppard performed good deeds that outweighed the bad.
Mark was a doctor, a neurosurgeon, in fact, known to have pioneered the groundbreaking procedure that staved off Alzheimer's. That alone earned him more than a few tears from Lady Justice. But there was more to the man than that.
A while back, before his success in the field of medicine, Mark Sheppard had signed up for an organization called 'Doctors Without Borders' which brought medical practitioners to the most rural and dangerous places in the world so that they can help the people there. For three years, Mark worked to save lives in the Middle East, which to this day was still one of the most war-torn regions in the world.
Greetings, fellow reapers!
A breakdown in the court, and its looking like a rumble's about to start — did you honestly expect it to go any other way? XD
Sadly, there are three more Luminaries whose backstories we don't know about, but we'll get to them some other time. Next chapter: The Luminaries Versus History's Finest, it's a fight of historical proportions. ;P
Don't forget to vote, guys! Let's make the holidays jolly for the denizens of Adventour too!
