"Okay… that's an interesting look," Leo noted.
The Jackal had been wrapped in its own black flames which had just morphed into hard obsidian scales shaped like pieces of armor. Obsidian pauldrons over the shoulders, a chest plate, a skirt of fauld armor along the waist and thighs, and even bands on the legs and wrists. Blackish flames licked the edges of the jackal's new armor.
"You little… you've gone and copied me, haven't you!" Maleagant laughed.
It barked happily back at Maleagant.
"I thought he was getting serious?" Leo asked.
"Those two have always been like this," Morgana frowned. "Not a serious bone in either of them despite how quickly things escalate between them…"
Greetings, fellow reapers!
I've still got a major migraine... it's been three days already... I can't help but think my writing's suffering because of it... Apologies, guys, I will endeavour to write better once my health gets better... hopefully, I'll be right as rain tomorrow.
Guys, I hope you can increase the votes this week. I'm afraid our ranking has gone down again... Perhaps the story is getting boring? Please let me know in the comments. XD
