Li Yang frowned, a shadow crossing his features. "And Shen?" he inquired, recalling his once-trusted companion.
Lysar seemed taken aback. "Shen? Wasn't he one of us?"
Li Yang sighed heavily, pain evident in his eyes. "He betrayed us. He's sided with the Xin Yue Clan."
Lysar's voice held a hint of sadness. "It's unfortunate that he has chosen this path, aligning himself with the Xin Yue for the secrets of your lineage. Betrayal is a heavy burden to bear."
Li Yang's gaze hardened. "What's done is done. Now, I must focus on my family and our mission."
"Correct," Lysar affirmed. "For now, your immediate goal should be to establish a foothold in Wu Xian City. It's a place of significance, power, and opportunity. Every year, the city hosts the 'Unlimited Challenge', a competition for the youth to showcase their abilities. If you win, you'll catch the attention of the city's Lord.
