A dark brown moose with horns the size of a small tree trunk appeared in place of the brown light that flashed in front of its trainer. Next to it, a white lizard with a slightly transparent body that resembled a chameleon walked in the air using its four feet. If one were to look from underneath its feet, they would be able to see small holes that looked like suction cups. Except a strange form of energy leaked from its feet enabling it to take flight

[Info: A rare monster that can blend in with almost anything It's transparent body allows for it to blend into things whilst also being the reason it can take flight. Small cycles of wind flows throughout its entire body allowing it to levitate or move in the air at great speeds]

With one look anyone could tell that the Mud Moose is a great matchup against the two legendary birds due to its water element. However, great trainers are able to overcome this disadvantage and turn the tide in their favour

Shee*

The Phoenix spread its wings as a huge gust of wind and blazing hot fire shot out from the wings and headed towards both opposing monsters

Moo*

The Mud Moose summoned a wall of earth to block out the Phoenix's greeting before the wall instantly dropped down and changed into balls of mud that shot back at the Phoenix. Mo Ningzhu's Phoenix's flames became hotter as the incoming attack by the mud moose disintegrated into nothing

Mo Xingyun made his move as his Luan instantly spread out its imposing aura which instantly froze over the entire stadium causing the crowd to shutter from the constantly changing temperature caused by the two legendary birds

The Star Flame Luan moved as its entire body turned into a star and slammed into the Jade Air Lizard which was thought to have disappeared since the battle began

Bang*

The Jade Air Lizard revealed itself as it flew back and spat out pitch black blood onto the stadium. Thanks to its crystal like body, it didn't instantly suffer defeat by the hands of Mo Xingyun. Immediately, the Mud Moose's body started moving as it created a tsunami of water and earth that enabled it to fight in the air

Whoosh*

The tsunami gathered and tried to devour the Phoenix whole, rocks hidden beneath the muddy water came crashing into the body of the Phoenix as it let out a soft cry and is thought to have been crushed by the powerful waves

When the water was gone, the Mud Moose' attack didn't end there, sword like pillars of earth plowed through the frozen ground and pierced the space where the Phoenix had been previously

"Did Mo Ningzhu finally meet her match?" someone in the crowd shouted. "Of course not, she's the strongest in the entire university, there's no way that will happen." a fan of Mo Ningzhu countered

Suddenly, a small wisp of crimson red flames floated in the air as it formed a sphere. The cries of a phoenix resounded once more as the flame slowly became bigger. Once it reached 10 meters in length, the ball of flames changed shape as visible wings of pure flames revealed itself from the sphere

Shee*

The ball of flame exploded as Mo Ningzhu's Phoenix rose from its ashes and melted the frozen stadium

Drip* Drip*

The sound of water dripping off the stadium down onto the peak could be clearly heard as the entire stadium went silent and watched in awe. The legendary Phoenix of legends lived up to its name as the Immortal Vermillion Bird

The Phoenix locked its eyes onto the Mud Moose as it turned into a flash of red flames and latched its blazing talons onto the moose's body

Moo*

The Mud Moose cried as its body started burning up whilst smoke rose from its wounded body. The Phoenix hurled the moose high into the sky as it passed through endless cotton candy like clouds before appearing in the sky above it and rained down an endless torrent of flaming feathers

Moo* Moo*

The Jade Air Lizard could only watch as the Mud Moose suffered the attacks which created a barrier of flames blocking it off from help. Seeing that his sister was done on her side, Mo Xingyun decided to end his fight

The Luan cried as it once again froze over the entire platform and created a dome of ice blocking the eyes of the crowd from seeing the world inside the dome. One could only guess what was happening inside the dome at the time

Inside the ice dome, the Jade Air Lizard's breathing became haphazard and slowed down as the air inside the dome became thinner. Even with its entire body filled with the power of wind, it could not control the wind inside the dome

Mo Xingyun's Luan created an endless amount of ice arrows that attacked the Jade Air Lizard from all directions making it entirely vulnerable to defeat. The ice arrows shot out and pierced the flesh of the crystal like body of the Jade Air Lizard as blood oozed from every inch of its body

Just moments of being inside the dome, Luan released the dome along with the ice around the entire platform as the injured Jade Air Lizard lied on the platform and instantly returned to the Monster Sea

Clap* Clap*

"Mo Xingyun, Mo Xingyun!" fans of both Mo Ningzhu and Mo Xingyun cheered as they easily won their battle which was supposed to be tough

"Those two are truly the strongest in the university! Even the 4th years who are veterans on the highest platform where the strongest reside were easily taken out by them!" someone said down below where Ye Qin and Wang Tao are sitting

Just like that, the Mo twins earned new fans amongst the new students who had been on the Battle Peak at the time of the match. As for Ye Qin and Wang Tao, their eyes sparkled as they couldn't wait to battle against strong opponents of that level

After witnessing such a large display of power, Ye Qin and Wang Tao made their decision to join the Battle Peak. Though in Ye Qin's case he had other ideas in which he would need to discuss with the principal in person

The two brothers stood up from their seats and directly walked up to the central building directly below the Battle Tower. Not only the two of them, but the other first years who were on the peak at the time rushed into the building going through the two brothers who took their time whilst enjoying the scenery

"Jeez what's the rush? They're gonna have to take a test anyway, what's the point in rushing?" Wang Tao couldn't help to say out loud. As soon as he finished speaking, a student who was running bumped into him

Crash*

The student fell on the ground and looked up at Wang Tao who reached out and said "You alright? No need to be in such a hurry."

The female student grabbed his hand and wiped the bottom of her skirt before bowing down and apologised to him before running into the building without looking back

"..."

The two brothers looked at each other and smiled wryly as they made their way inside the building

Just outside the door of the central building, a large sign that read 'Battle Peak Lobby' could be seen with statues of golden lions on each side. Not only that, the door handles resembled lion heads

Ye Qin walked in followed by Wang Tao as they are scanned by the system at the entrance. When they step foot into the building, a long line awaited them as a large amount of students all excited lined up

The two brothers joined the queue as they spent their time talking or researching on their smart watches until it was their turn

"Next!" the rough middle aged voice of one of the receptionists called them. Ye Qin and Wang Tao went up as their data was displayed before the man. "Ah Gold Stars?! With your privileges you two can skip the test and directly join any Peak without going through anything troublesome" the man said with a slight look of surprise as he tapped away at his screen before allowing the two to leave the queue

"Thanks." Ye Qin said as the two went back to their dorms without checking out the other peaks. When they arrived at the Gold Star Dorm, Su Guiying and Jia Yazhu were talking in the living room

"Hey." Wang Tao greeted them as the two brothers walked to the living space and sat down to chat with the two girls

"Did you guys decide which peak to join? Also it looks like Gold Stars are able to join any peak without taking the test." Jia Yazhu asked

"Yup, both of us joined the Battle Peak. We need to get stronger as quickly as we can." Wang Tao replied

The two girls had a puzzled expression, Jia Yazhu continued "Why do you need to get strong quickly?". "Well, we plan to get permission from the university to give us permits to enter the Abandoned Lands as well as meet the requirements to join the expedition." Wang Tao replied solemnly

"But why? The terms barely started, we still have another 4 years to grow." Su Guiying added. However, the two didn't reply to her question as she knew that they didn't want to talk about it, they quickly changed topics

"So when will you two reveal your monsters?" Jia Yazhu smiled. Su Guiying nodded as she too was curious. "Hahaha, well since we're on that topic why not?" Wang Tao replied as Ye Qin nodded

"Well since you asked first, shouldn't you two show us first?" Ye Qin smiled. "Ah? Uh… sure I guess?" Su Guiying said. The four of them then went outside where the space was much larger to summon their partners

Standing outside of the dorm, Su Guiying went first as a flash of pale yellow light appeared just meters ahead of her

The silhouette of a 2 meter tall horse appeared in the two brothers' sight. When the monster was fully revealed, the two showed a hint of surprise on their faces. A pure white horse with a slightly grey mane and tail with a horn the thickness of a sword and 30 centimeters in length as well as pure white wings that reached over 2.5 meters stood before them

One could say that the sight before them was truly holy. The majestic aura of the Pegasus emitted a strong holiness
