章節 242: CHAPTER 242: MISUNDERSTANDING

"We can continue the meeting on another day. Don't force your body or it will give up on you." Disturbed, Marcus suggested as he watch the woman take the second cup of coffee. He cannot imagine how Ariana gulped two large coffees in just minutes!

"No, it's fine. It's about to end anyway." The woman yawned as she speaks. Then they continued discussing the project collaboration.

Marcus has been listening to Ariana's suggestion and still cannot believe that she was the person he'd been trying to reach for so long.

FLASHBACK;

"Where is she?" Marcus asked the project manager when he couldn't find a new face in the room. He was expecting to meet the mysterious CEO today so he came to the meeting though he was late for some reason.

He could see the confusion on the project manager's face as he look at him and Jade altogether. His eyes were hinting at something.

Then Marcus who seems to realize something glanced at the woman who cackled lightly.
