"Old Master had returned. He's now at the gate and will come back soon." Steward Tong looked at the two children and didn't hide the news he received. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

Nan Luo smiled brightly. "Finally! I have a lot to complain to Grandpa!"

"Luo didn't finish the assignment."

Nan Luo froze. It was then he recalled that his grandfather asked him to make a friend in the academy but since he spent most of his time in the residence, he didn't manage to make any friend. Would his grandfather be angry with him?

Old Master Nan didn't immediately return to the residence because he had to give his report to the palace first. It was only after some formality with the other generals and commander did he return to the residence.
