The night passed by quietly.

And the next day, the army departed through the lake. 

The shallow water was far from enough from being able to stop them. It was not like the previous waves where it swept countless soldiers because of how mighty it was. 

Nan Hua and Long Qian Xing stayed at the front as Long Qian Xing told more details of the war to Nan Hua. She needed to know these because the next battle wouldn't be easy and without having any prior knowledge, it might put their lives in danger.

And the other soldiers were following not far behind them. 

Yu Jin was in the middle, in front of her own soldiers, riding on her horse. She looked straight to the front, but her eyes were a bit unfocused at times.
