Akainu and I faced each other, the courtyard empty except the still screaming bitch that I had pinned to the ground. Making the first move, I teleported behind Akainu, my fist covered in pitch-black bone.
Lashing out with a series of quick punches so fast they sounded like cannon fire, Akainu screamed, and he spun around his entire body, exploding to try and envelope me. Holding out my hand, I created a bone wall, and the magma splash against my unbreakable barrier.
Creating a portal beneath my feet, I escaped, unscathed reappearing a few meters behind the Admiral. Returning to his normal form, Akainu turned to face me, "You say you want to create a better world, let me ask. Who will be ruling that world? You and your little band of criminals."
"Maybe, but that sounds like too much work. There are already kings who could do a much better job ruling the world than I could. I'm just putting things in motion." I replied before snapping my fingers and creating a cluster of marble-sized blackholes, each humming quietly.
"But one thing's for sure. There won't be people like you—those who use justice as a means to excuse the evils of the world. And though I am feeding the cycle of endless violence, I will put a stop to it." As I finished speaking, the orbs surged forward, on a path to pepper Akainu's body.
No doubt having learned about the power of my devil fruit, the Admiral chose to dodge instead of facing the attack head-on. Though the black holes tried to correct their course, they crashed into the building, taking chunks of stone and wood before disappearing.
Akainu looked at the damage, and for the first time in our fight, I saw a flash of fear in his eyes. It was replaced by rage as he screamed before slamming his arms against the ground sending another wave of lava though this time the wave reached the rooftops threatening to drown the entire courtyard.
Teleporting to Shalria, I took both of us through my void and appeared on the rooftop across from the admirals. "You're losing your touch Akainu. Maybe I should take my turn."
Akainu glared at Kizaru, who didn't look concerned at the current state of things. "What are you three doing save me before I put you in my chamber like my other pets." Akainu looked as if he wanted to kill the noble himself, but he swallowed his words.
Without a word, Kizaru turned into a beam of light teleporting in front of me, reaching for Shalria. Pushing her to the side, I tackled Kizaru off the building out into the sea of lava. Turning into a light to escape my grasp and I used Geppo to stay in the air.
My eyes flashed, and I moved to the side just as a shard of ice sailed through the air. Kuzan had gotten involved as he created a bridge of ice connecting the two buildings. I had to dodge again as Akainu started to hurl burning balls of melted stone that he ripped out of the rooftop.
Creating another portal, I tried to go through it, but Kizaru intercepted me, appearing above men and kicking me down towards the lava. Growing a pair of wings, I caught an updraft propelling me straight up.
With a moment to think, I realized I wasn't going to win this fight. Opening a portal, I reached through and grabbed Shalria head. "I wish I could do this myself, but this is the next best thing."
Dominating her mind, I scanned through her memories, seeing all the horrible crimes she committed. I then activated her nervous system making her experience the pain she had caused others throughout her life.
From her perspective, she was living out each moment of pain and agony at once. In a second, I reduced her to a husk of her former self. Her eyes vacant and spaced out. I looked back at the admirals, "I suggest that you prepare yourselves. Today was the first day of reckoning. Word will spread that the celestial dragons are not invincible."
They all sent a projectile of their element at me at once, but I summoned a portal behind me, disappearing into the void. Stepping out of my portal onto Akuma, I looked around, and I saw that the plan had worked.
"I hope there weren't any problems. I had to face three admirals after all." Leana skipped over and ran her hand over my sculpted figure, "Wow, what happened? Did you get taller?" Grabbing her hand, I pulled Leana in front of me, "You can explore my body later, but right now, I have a crowd to address."
Leana moved aside, and I stepped forward, overlooking the crowd of gaunt faces, many of which were in disbelief. I could see children, men, and women all looking towards me for guidance.
"Let me ask you all a question," I started my voice strong and steady, "How many of you were criminals and pirates before they enslaved you?" I watched as nearly half of all those there raised their hands into the air.
"Now, let me also ask do you regret your decisions, knowing what it would cause." Out of those who raised their hands, several fell. Looking at those men and women in their eyes, I opened portals beneath them and dropped them into the void.
"To the rest of you, I know what pains you suffered as I, too, lived through them. But today, I killed our past tormenters. And I want to extend to you a chance to finish the job, so we can create a better future not only for us but for generations after we pass away." There was a moment of silence before a cheer broke out across the crowd.
Holding out my hand I worked through the bodies of the crowd and started to remove the brand from their skin. That was slowly replaced by a oni skull biting down on a broken chain.
