章節 1: force marriage

Hello friends, this is my first novel. I hope you will like it and you all will support me. Thank you🤍

It was night, the wind was howling, and a car was speeding down the road. After a while, the car came to a stop in front of a temple. A man stepped out of the car, walked around to the other side, and opened the door. Inside sat a girl, her eyes brimming with tears, her face soaked from crying.

She was sobbing uncontrollably. The man approached her, extended his hand, and said, "Come with me." But the girl didn't move. Seeing her hesitation, the man forcefully grabbed her wrist.

He dragged her out of the car, pulling her toward the temple. The girl, still crying, struggled to walk, her legs trembling. The man was practically dragging her inside. The wind was so fierce that it felt like a storm. The girl's clothes were billowing in the wind, and her entire appearance was disheveled, her hair and clothes in disarray.

As they moved forward, the girl suddenly stepped on something sharp. She looked down and saw a shard of glass piercing her foot, and blood began to flow. But the man didn't care and continued dragging her, blood still dripping from her foot.

He finally brought her into the temple and stopped, staring at her. The girl, her face drenched in tears, stood trembling in front of him. Her tears showed no sign of stopping. The man looked at her coldly and said, "You have no other option. If you want your family to remain safe and don't want me to harm them, you'll have to do this."

The girl, still crying, folded her hands in front of him and, in a voice filled with pain, pleaded, "No, please, don't do this to us. I can't marry you. Please, spare me. What have I ever done to you? Why are you doing this to us? Please, let me go!"

She kept crying, but her tears and pleas seemed to have no effect on him. Unmoved by her distress, the man, with a hard expression, said, "The choice is yours—either your family's destruction or this marriage. It won't take me a minute to destroy you and your entire family. If you want to save them, you'll have to marry me."

The girl fell silent. When the man didn't receive any answer, he said, "Seems like you don't care about your family. Fine then." He reached into his pocket to make a call. Just as he was about to dial, the girl cried out, "No... no, I'll marry you. I'll do whatever you say. I'm ready to marry you, but please, don't harm my family. Please, let them go!"

Hearing these words, a devilish smile spread across his face. He picked up a box of vermillion from a nearby tray and crudely smeared it in her hair parting. Then, pulling a mangalsutra from his pocket, he forcefully placed it around her neck.

The girl's tears continued to flow. After tying the mangalsutra, the man grabbed her hand and began taking the seven vows around the sacred fire. He dragged her along, forcing her to take each step.

Somehow, they completed the seven rounds. Afterward, the man stopped and moved close to the girl, speaking menacingly, "Prepare yourself for a life of hell. After a wedding, every husband promises to keep his wife happy and protect her. Don't worry, I'll make a promise to you too."

"I promise to give you nothing but pain—unbearable, endless pain. I'll make you suffer in ways you can't imagine. That's my vow to you."

Then, grabbing her arm, he looked deep into her eyes and said, "Get ready for your new life in hell." The girl's tears kept flowing, as if they would never stop.

After the wedding, the man once again took her hand and dragged her outside the temple. He opened the car door and motioned for her to get in. After she sat down, he went to the driver's side, got in, and started the car. They drove off.

A while later, the car stopped in front of a large house. The man stepped out, walked around to the other side, and opened her door. He grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the car. The girl seemed to have no awareness left of what was happening to her. She just sat there, dazed.

Once again, the man pulled her out of the car and leaned close to her ear, speaking harshly, "Don't make any mistakes inside. Stand quietly and do exactly as I say. If you mess up even slightly, be ready to face the consequences. And wipe away those fake tears." With that, he dragged her inside the house.

The house was lavishly decorated, as if for a wedding. Inside, there was a mandap, and sitting under it was a girl dressed as a bride, probably waiting for her groom.

A few people were standing nearby, looking despondent, as if they were waiting for something. Just then, they all turned toward the door and saw the man and the girl standing there. Their eyes widened in shock as they took in the scene.
