Cora gave the names Jackson and Claire West to the VIP manager behind the desk. He suddenly turned a radiant smile on them that reeked of fake energy. Cora smiled back with false cheer. She was surprised when the man didn't ask for their passports. He only wanted a credit card for onboard purchases.

When Cora handed the man her black card his smiled widened. Jared had once told her what it meant to have a black card. Seeing this man's response to her brand-new card underscored that she had given him a card with no limit.

The manager handed back her card eyeing her like he was conducting a test and he expected her to cheat. "Now there is just the matter of your VIP fee…"

Megan didn't speak instead she raised an eyebrow at the man. He swallowed nervously under her stare.

"As agreed, upon, the fee is forty thousand. Cash…"
