"Did you not try to pay Caroline off? What did she do? Did she leave Eddison?" She asked.

"Are you saying we should acknowledge her as Eddison's wife?" He asked.

She snorted, "If you want to make Eddison hate you more, you can just pay Caroline as much as you want. Let's see how he will react towards you."

With great disappointment, she glanced at him before heading upstairs.
