[Next Day]
I woke up at mother's side when the sun hadn't yet come out and began to put on my armor to set out for the knight's camp.
As expected, I couldn't sleep with the knight general. because just as I was lying on the bed with Naesala, my mother burst through the door.
She didn't say anything but simply came to my side, took me in her arms and returned to the castle. She laid me down on our bed and then cuddled me to sleep.
[Arben Echad] (Knight Camp)
{A/N:I forgot to post the image of the knight camp here it is.}
After walking for about half an hour, I reached the knight's camp. After nodding to the knight, I made my way to the training grounds and saw all the apprentice knights standing in a line, fully armored, waiting for Naesala.
I joined them and waited for Naesala. It wasn't long before she came out of her tower with her golden-red armor and great sword on her back.
[GREAT SWORD IMAGE]
"Today's training will be slightly different as we have a prince with us," she said, as she glanced at me.
"Like always, you will start running around the camp to warm up your bodies before moving on to sword practice. But while running,if the prince can't keep up as you run, you leave him behind and keep running until only one of you is left standing at the end. As a reward, the one who is standing will replace the prince and be trained by me instead of the prince."
Naesala said with a slight smile on her lips as the apprentice knights began to cheer, looking excited to train directly with the knight general.
"It's good that you're excited, because if it's the prince that remains standing at the end of the run, your training will be doubled for the next decade."
She said it with a wide grin on her face. But that didn't bring the knights' morale. They thought that they were going up against a mere child and continued to talk excitedly about which one of them would be trained by the knight general.
While they were talking, I began to inhale and exhale deeply to get my breathing into rhythm and jumped up and down in my place to warm up my body.
My actions drew Naesala's attention to me. She nodded her head in approval then looked angrily at the knights while shaking her head.
In the past, she would expel those knights for forgetting their duties. But she can't do that now because our numbers are too low.
It has even gotten to the point where she, the knight general, trains them herself instead of the knight captains because of a lack of manpower.
Knight captains are patrolling the elven territory day and night, while she stays in the city to train apprentice knights and protect the city.
After a while, when she thought she had given them enough time as this would be a long and hard run as a powerful and experienced knight, she knew how powerful I am. She can sense it, just like I can sense how powerful she is.
She unsheathed the great sword on her back and stabbed the ground with such force that it sounded like an explosion. The ground cracked like a spider's web as the entire knight's camp shook.
The moment the shaking stopped, I dashed forward at full speed, breaking the ground beneath me.
I didn't want to waste time running with the knights and start my training with her at once because I was the first in line. The other knights had to keep up with me.
If I outran them by two laps around the camp, they would be eliminated.
[half an hour later]
All of the knights lie on the training ground, exhausted from having run at full speed for half an hour. I stand in front of Naesala with my boots destroyed..
Naesala looked at me, her eyes showing affection for a split second, then turned her attention to the knights on the ground and took a deep breath, causing me to put my hands on my ears and bend my knees to brace myself for what is to come.
"GET UP NOW, YOU WORTHLESS FLESH BAGS! YOU ARE NOT HERE TO SLEEP!"
She shouted at them with such force that she created shockwaves that stunned all of the knights. Even some of the weak knights who fell down started to foam in their mouths.
Except for those who have fainted, the others get up after their shock and line up in front of her.
"''Sigh', wake up the sleeping beauties and tell them that because they are slacking off from training, they won't be getting any meals today. Now proceed with your training as usual, your punishment starts tomorrow."
Naesala said, then she nodded to me and signaled for me to follow her.
"Are you done?" I asked her, meaning if she was done with all the tests and wasting my time.
"Hmmm," she nodded slightly, understanding what I had asked her.
She led me to her private training grounds right behind her tower. It was nothing fancy, as one would expect from her considering her rank, but it was simply a garden with plenty of space. She had all sorts of weapons: swords, greatswords, maces, axes, spears, bo staff, rapiers, warhammers and even a whip.
"Look at the weapons, little prince. Choose one you like and try it out to see if you are comfortable using it. Then we can form more effective training based on the weapon you have chosen."
The most comfortable weapon for me was my own body, but I wanted to see how different it would be to fight with a weapon instead of using my body.
So I went to the weapons, picked them up and swung them a few times. After testing all the weapons, I didn't feel anything different all of them felt the same.
"I will learn all of them."
I'll learn them all, just in case I ever need a weapon. I grabbed the sword and walked to the center of the garden.
"If you focus on more than one weapon, it will greatly hinder your progress and waste both your time and mine, little prince. Just choose one of them so we can start training."
"No."
"Fine, it looks like I'll have to 'teach' you all of the weapons,"
she said as she became a blur and lunched towards me. I caught a glimpse of her, but my brain couldn't react in time, while my body did react instinctively.
I took a step back and raised my arms to protect my face. But I was too late, because she was faster. While I was raising my arms, she hit me in the face, sending me flying into the wall and crashing into the wall.
I shook my head and pushed myself out of the wall. When I tasted the iron in my mouth, I touched my lips with my finger and saw my blood.
'Ptooey,' I spat out the remaining blood in my mouth and moved towards Naesala, but right after the first step, I groaned.
'Ugh,' my body ached... I was in pain. This has never happened to me before, neither in my last life nor in this one. This is the first time I've ever felt pain.
It was exhilarating. My heart raced, my blood started to get warmer, and my mind felt refreshed. The world gained more color. Ahhh, such a wonderful feeling.
With a wide grin on my face, I rushed towards Naesala.

[Naesala POV]
"MOVE, SOLDIER! YOU ARE NOT HERE TO LAZE AROUND, YOU'RE HERE TO TRAIN TO PROTECT YOUR BRETHREN!"
While I was 'motivating' the knight's apprentice as usual, one of the knights came to my side and whispered something in my ear.
"General, the prince is here. He is requesting an audience with you."
I waved my hand at him and, after warning the apprentice knights not to slack off, I looked at the child standing against the training ground's walls.
He had black hair and red eyes. I was able to recognize that he was the prince right away since he is the only elf that has black hair and red eyes in the entire kingdom.
'Sigh, if it's not enough that I'm training young elves, now I have to deal with a child who does nothing but sit on his mother's lap.'
"Well, well, if it isn't the little prince. What are you doing here,'my prince'? Did you come here to play with swords?"
I decided to mock him a little to see if he's a spoiled brat. If he sees me as not showing respect and not bowing to his authority, maybe he'll leave. I already am dealing with so many things; I'm not going to babysit a child.
"I'm here to learn swordsmanship from you, General, for you are the most powerful knight in the kingdom."
'Hoooo, look at this little brat. It looks like he is not spoiled as much as I thought since his face didn't change or throw tantrums when I mocked him. Now he says he wants to learn from me. He's really brave, but that's not enough for me to accept his request. I don't have time to entertain a child.'
"Listen, mommy's boy, being a knight is nothing like sitting on your mother's lap. I can't have you interrupting my knight's training. Elven knights hold the most important position in the kingdom. Every single soldier here trains to protect the kingdom with their lives."
I continued to mock him and even bluntly disrespected him, explaining the importance of the knights, so he'd give up training here and waste my time.
But even after everything I said, he showed no emotion and continued to pursue me to train him.
"I'm well aware of what knights mean to the kingdom, General. I'm not here to delay or interfere with their training, but to prepare for the future. I'm not here to train because I want to, but because I must train."
He's a stubborn one, so I decided to pressure him both physically and mentally to make him give up.
I stood behind him, put my hands on his shoulders and tried to intimidate him with my words.
"Knights train every day when the sun first shines on the realm until the moon takes its place. They train in scorching heat, heavy rain and freezing cold. Being a knight requires discipline, patience, willpower and an unbreakable body. You must be prepared to be killed or kill without hesitation to save the lives of our brethren. Do you have what it takes to be a knight, young prince? Can you give your life for one of ours without hesitation?"
With each sentence, I increased the strength of my hand, but not too much, because even though I was annoyed, I'm not going to break a child's body.
But he surprised me, because when I tried to intimidate him with my words, he didn't show any emotion. And when I put pressure on his shoulder, his body remained steady. That made me curious.
"Test me, General. See for yourself if I'm fit to be a knight."
When I asked him if he had what it takes, he asked me to test him. This child is getting interesting.
I called one of the knights to spar with him. When the knight arrived, he first called my title, then his title, which showed that the knight was loyal to me first, then to the royal family.
I glanced at the prince to see his reaction, but like the first time I met him, he showed no emotion this time either.
While the prince and the knight were moving towards one of the mini arenas to spar, the apprentice knights stopped what they were doing and circled around to watch them.
That annoyed me a little seeing how they stop their training like I'm not even here, so I grabbed the knight who was sparring with the prince by the neck and ordered him not to hold back.
I signaled them to start. The knight immediately attacked the prince with a wooden sword, but the prince defended himself by raising his arm and blocking the wooden sword with his forearm.
What surprised me more was not his reaction speed against someone stronger and more experienced than him, but his durability. After taking the knight by surprise, the prince knocked him out with a single hit.
This strength and durability at such a young age is unnatural. It made me a little excited and I began to think that he might be the one I've been waiting for the last five centuries - someone truly worthy of me.
Even after he forced his way into my bed, only to be dragged out by the queen, he arrived at the knights' camp on time the next day, showing me that he is serious about being a knight.
I wanted to test him one last time to see if he was truly exceptional or if what happened yesterday was just a one-time thing.
So I had him do the most basic warm-up running something knights do every day, but with a little twist. If he were to lose, I would not train him.
Of course, I was sure that Prince would win no matter what. I just did it to get Prince and the knights to give their all. But even if Prince didn't win, I would train him since I had already given my word yesterday that I would train him.
I can feel the power inside his body, it's like a raging storm that would destroy everything in its path. But he couldn't use his power to its full extent since he was too young. His body is the only thing holding him back from becoming stronger.
After half an hour, Prince stood in front of me with his boots destroyed, but he didn't look tired. His breathing was steady, as if he had never run but just stood there the whole time.
'Good, he did not disappoint me.'He overpowered the knights by running at full speed for half an hour without slowing down,as I watched the knights lying on the ground, trying to catch their breath.
I got annoyed again. I knew they were going to lose, but to think that they would lose in such an overwhelming way was a huge disappointment.
After telling the knights to train without me, I nodded to the prince, signaling for him to follow me.
After taking him to my garden, which is also my private training ground, I told him to choose one of the weapons to begin our training.
He went to the weapons and tested them all while I waited for him to choose one. However, he told me in his emotionless voice that he wanted to learn them all, which got on my nerves.
'This spoiled brat keeps challenging me,' I thought to myself and tried to explain to him that choosing to learn multiple weapons would hinder his training. But he refused to listen to me, which made me angry.
It looks like I'll have to teach him a lesson to get his head straight, or he'll think that just because I agreed to train him, I'm now his servant.
I moved towards the prince and punched him in the face with 10% of my strength because I know he can take my punch since I can sense that he is strong.
After I punched the prince, force from my punch sent him against the wall, and I realized that I let my anger affect my actions.
It looks like I used more force than I had intended. But after hitting the wall, the prince just stood up, shook his head and rushed towards me with a wide grin on his face.
'Hmmmm... Look at him shrugging off a punch that could kill an elder boar like it's nothing... He has so much power at such a young age, his potential is limitless, and I will do everything I can to maximize that potential and make him the most powerful being in the realm...maybe Maybe he is the one I have been waiting for the last five hundred years, the one who will dominate the realm... My other half, my perfect mate, my husband'
I looked at the prince, who is rushing towards me with a wide grin. I opened my arms and welcomed him with a smile of my own.
