章節 4: 4. Items.
My eyes were dragged to two marbles a red marble and a silver marble. "Dragoon Spirits!" these also belonged to Dart, dragon knight equipment. Used to form powerful armor and cast powerful magic. Fire Dragoon spirit and the Divine Dragoon spirit. They did however come with a side effect of making the user part dragon while worn. He had played the game and seen it first hand through the memories of Dart, the dragon buster was able to instant kill a dragoon and had done so. So anything dragon slaying would be super effective against him in that form.
Taking out the marbles they both shine brightly before being sucked into my chest.
He felt like he could use them anytime he liked but didn't want to at this moment as It would probably burn the room down. Not advisable to test out equipment inside of an inn if you don't have the money to pay for damages.
"So many goodies." There were loads of materia too from both Cloud and Vincent, materia could be used to cast magic or summon creatures hell there was even one which could be used to learn the moves of monsters.
"I'll have to sort those in a bit." Other than that there was a bit of armor from Dart and Vincent. Quite a good haul actually. At least it's better than starting with fucking nothing.
Then the only thing left was special abilities. Which Vincent had, his body had been experimented on and could turn into a couple of monsters. There also came the side effect that he could no longer age due to being basically an amalgamation of different creatures and some kind of materia based construct called Chaos. There was a werewolf like Galian Beast, a Frankenstein like creature called a Death Gigas, an undead with a chainsaw for an arm called a HellMasker, then the Vampire like Devil called Chaos. Probably the reason he was called Horror-Terror.
"Seems for now I'm going to be stuck using the buster swords. I don't have the tools to make bullets so the guns are out for now." going over everything there were quite a few items he would have to get if he wanted to make his own ammo. However he didnt have the money to pay for that, even a room cost him close to 200 valis a night. Sighing he tucked everything back into the ring besides the buster sword and clothes he was wearing. Well and the items that had went into his body, this was to avoid suspicion.
"Priority should be getting myself a stable place to live. That way I don't have to hide my things like a rat." He mumble setting the sword against the wall and relaxing onto the bed.
"Should probably also get myself some equipment like a regular sword to use as I'm sure swinging this door sized swords around is going to trouble me later on in tight spaces. Maybe I can use one of the smaller blades from the advent children buster sword. I'll see how much weapons are tommorow." He mutters quietly.
The rest of the night was spent just relaxing as since he didn't need to sleep or eat. Quick scrub with some water out back and he changed into some fresh clothes, which was a pair of jeans and a purple shirt he had in the ring. "I'll need to buy some more clothes apparently because I only have like 5 sets of clothes." 2 sets of clothes from cloud a set from dart and a set from vincent plus what I was transported here in. He had 2 pairs of boots and 2 pairs of greaves along with some armor for the chest and left arm. He didn't even have his own shoes as he was in bed before he came here, luckily all the clothes fit him perfectly fine.
Strapping the sword over his back he heads out for the guild as today he would get a guide.
He picks up a quick couple of kebabs for breakfast from a food stall and head about his day. Well the meat here is good so that's a plus.
Arriving at the guild He finds an open counter and present his guild card. "I'm supposed to meet my dungeon guide this morning?" He asks the receptionist.
The guild worker looks over some papers, quickly. "Your dungeon guide is Rose, she will be here soon."
Nodding his head he goes to take a seat. The sword makes things like sitting so inconvenient. Gotta take it off and rest it against his body or the wall.
About 10 minutes later he's called up. "Ryan your dungeon guide is here, if you will follow me." The guild worker says.
Nodding he put the sword on his back and followed the woman to a room and inside he saw the same red head who called me a liar yesterday. "Is she my dungeon guide?" He asks with narrowed eyes.
"Yes, I am your dungeon guide, as punishment for the trouble I caused you yesterday I've been assigned to look over you. I apologize for my behavior as well, quite a few adventures bother me by asking me out on dates and interrupting my work, they like to make up stories or try to impress me in odd ways, I figured you were the same and got frustrated and tried to make an example out of you and for that I applogize." Rose says with a small bow. Either this or she got a pay cut and written up for causing trouble with a new person who was innocent. The guild had rules too and being impolite and accusing someone of being a liar and even checking their status was a pretty severe thing.
"Can I request a new dungeon guide? I'm pretty sure she is going to try to kill me in the dungeon by giving me false information." Ryan asks the assistant.
"How dare you!" Rose shouts slamming her hands on the table angrily. "I would never stoop so low as to do something like that!"
