LUCAS' POV.

(The previous evening)

I watched Derel and Tenor, trying to understand the situation. Where did they meet? Why were they so casual with each other? She didn't look like an high school student, so I couldn't imagine where they could have met long enough to have such relationship with each other.

"Don't touch me." Derel said, jerking his arm out of her hand. She took off her jacket completely, and hit him with it.

"What is the matter with you? Must you be so headstrong?" She asked, heatedly.

"I believe you have no business judging whether I'm headstrong or not." Derel said. "We don't know each other, do we?" He asked coldly, and walked away, but she followed him. I wanted to go with them, but my phone rang.

It was Emily. I picked it, and we talked a little after I suggested having coffee, which was weird, judging that the sky had darkened, but she didn't mind.

I doubted I was the only one offering to drink coffee at night.
