I knew that the man was suspicious the way he approached me and intruded into my personal space. He targeted her thoughts in that particular moment and made the woman assumed, that he was some sort of person who could see through people.

Kazen knew she had to test him and see what did he want because after the pressure of Mr Salvatore (her father) she was supposed to marry as soon as possible. 

And for that she had to find some target to marry on the papers to avoid getting bound to the traditions and response of the marriage life. Kazen MacNarma was aware that her father may not approve of Ekai Enzo Enrique and thus she had to find someone else to do the play with her.
