"I think you managed to convince your mother for now," Feng Renxing chortled behind the sleeve of his robe as he accompanied his son on a stroll towards the Training Courtyard. "But her suspicions won't lay low for long."

"You aren't going to ask me anything, Father?" Chi Cheng asked, nervously anticipating his father's opinion on the matter.
