My hand had never moved this fast before as it did when I snatched Caleb's phone from his hand before he could press the call button. "Caleb!" Oops! I didn't mean to shout. I cleared my throat and turned my voice down a notch. "We can't cancel on the luna! Please, you have to be rational!"

"You think I can be rational right now…?" He checked me out from head to toe while simultaneously gesturing his hands up and down at my body. "…when you are standing in front of me, looking like an absolute temptress, begging me to have a taste? Is that why you are wearing such a revealing dress, Valerie?"

"That's not why I dressed like this! I had no choice but to wear this because–"

"I wasn't complaining." He cut me off. "I'm simply stating that you look so irresistible that I am unable to think properly. I cannot think of anything at all except how badly I want you."
