章節 22: Cold Sia

Both of them were kissing each other like there was no tomorrow, his black suit made him look absolutely charming coupled with the beauty in front of him in a white flowy wedding gown was enchanting; they looked a perfect couple as if made for each other. Suddenly between the hungry kisses both of them started to discard the outfits in pieces one by one, moving with their moments they reached a shiny tent near them, as soon as the curtains fell after both of them entered inside Sia...'

"What the hell!!" Sia woke up with a jolt when Qitong pour a glass of cold water on her.

"Since when did Miss. Workaholic started waking up late." Qitong said folding her hands at her chest and raising a brow.

Looking at Qitong and her room, Sia suddenly realized that the whole event was nothing but a dream, that she had last night. Remembering those wild hungry kisses Sia couldn't help but hide under the blankets.

Qitong pulled the blankets angrily before scolding her, "Get up. We need to hurry." It wasn't actually late it was just seven in morning but they needed to visit Qitong's studio before Sia goes for work. Qitong was a fashion designer who has her own studio, she was about to showcase her designs for the first time on a runway, the function was about to be tomorrow but she needed to send her apparels today. The models would be decided suitably for the outfits. Sia was the one who helped her recognize her talents and encouraged her when she was tired, so she wanted Sia to see those designs before she sends them. As they were going to send them in afternoon, she came to take Sia early in the morning. She wasn't aware of anything that happened last night, as nothing got leaked in media.

They both drove towards her studio after Sia got ready for her day.

The studio was in the same direction as Vine Technologies, as soon as they reached they were welcomed by Susie, Susie was in charge of dressing up models according to requirements of outfit. Susie was ecstatic when he saw both of them, he dragged them to the room where all the garments were arranged on mannequins. Sia looked at all of them with a smile, but when her eyes rested on a shiny dark blue gown decorated with rose red flowers and rose quartz crystals as a center she was stunned. The gown was off shoulder gown with the flowers only at the bottom and on chest area, but it was extremely beautiful. She walked straight towards that gown and she was about to touch it when she received a call from Eva that there was an urgent matter regarding the project with Yuzhou Enterprises in office so she needed to report little early.

She hugged Qitong and wished her luck before leaving for her office. Qitong let her leave only after she promised to attend the fashion show.

Sia rushed to office only to find the heads of production department and material testing department assembled in CEO's office accompanied by Fang Yu and Eva. They all were standing like punished kids and Tang Chuan was on phone talking to someone.

Sia entered the cabin escorted by Su Ren to see a scene when a teacher was scolding his students. As the cabin was big she strode towards them with an expressionless face. It was extremely hard to tell what she was thinking right now. As soon as Tang Chuan saw Sia he gestured her to have a seat.

Sia was not the project manager of this project yet, so it wasn't actually her fault; but it was decided that she would supervise Fang Yu on every step. Sia was actually unaware of the whole topic so she patiently waited trying to understand the surroundings.

Last night,

"We were supposed to try it at our lab, sir. Vice President Chen would definitely be against trying it in their premises." said a member of material testing department.

"Manager Fang, we should ask her before we do this. We can do it tomorrow. If anything goes wrong in Tan Security's lab we will be held accountable." said someone amidst the crowd.

Fang Yu waved his hands as if telling them continue what they were doing.

The material decided for making the screens was undergoing some testing, it required some machines which were extremely expensive and difficult to arrange. So, Mo Jingze gave them access to chemical laboratories of Tan Securities. The composition they were working on right now included toxic substance. Some mistake in handling it caused it turn in vaporize hence people were hospitalized immediately. Though it was not that serious at all, but people in that also included some members from the other company.

Present time,

Sia was shocked to hear that the people she trained were so careless. "Are you guys out of your minds? How can you guys inhale Waterlock*! Even high school kids are aware of the precautions they have to take against it. Besides that, you guys are working with it for years." she said sounding a little frustrate. It was not a big issue but it was clearly a silly mistake from their side.

She then looked at Fang Yu and said, "Who gave you the audacity to carry out that testing in their labs! Don't we have arrangement for it in our place. You were clearly slacking off."

"The consequences will be endured by everyone involved in this matter. If he was at fault that he took this step, you were also wrong to comply with those orders. You should have called me, am I not telling everyone always that you could tell me any problem you face from seniors!" she said in authoritative tone, she clearly sounded as an emperor punishing the sinners.

The matter dispersed after that, the people involved were not angry at her decision because they were indeed wrong. Sia maintained quite a friendly nature with her workers, because she believed that only then will it guarantee their loyalty and productiveness. Also, Fang Yu was told to handover the project immediately to Sia. Sia was the one who said that, so Tang Chuan appeared to be confused.

After everyone left, both Sia and Tang Chuan discussed that it was only right for her handle it for avoiding any issues. Also, Tang Chuan told her to discuss everything with Mo Jingze. Tang family was still not aware of Sia's arranged marriage with Mo Xiao, nor the Chen family was aware including her mother.

Sia told Eva to visit the hospital, while she called Mo Jingze at his office. His secretary informed her that he was busy. She decided to call him later.

Her day continued as usual. She called Mo Xiao after she left the office, it had somehow become a habit of her. But, difference today was that he didn't pick the phone. Instead, Xu Xin picked up the call and informed her that he was busy in meeting someone important. Xu Xin was unaware of their relation, for him she was just the Vice President of Vine Technologies, even that night Mo Xiao didn't inform him anything about the owner of car, he was just told to leave it in front of Crystal valley.

Few minutes after that call, Mo Jingze called her.

"I'm so sorry Sister-in-law. I was a little busier today. What happened?" he asked.

"No issues. I just called you to know about the incident from yesterday night. Don't worry, as the carelessness was from our sides. We'll take full responsibility." She said sounding professional.

Mo Jingze chuckled at her serious tone. "Vice President Chen I know work and personal life should be kept different but working hours are over. Can I talk to my Sister-in-law now?" he asked laughing.

Sia laughed at his words. "Yeah sure, say."

"So have you talked to brother today?" he asked her teasingly.

"No he's in a meeting I guess." She said remembering Xu Xin's words.

"Ehhh….. That's weird. Mom said that he left office wih Yue Jie earlier." He said. He instantly covered his mouth with other free hand after knowing that he said something that he shouldn't have said. But the other side was dead silent. He called her out to confirm if she was there.

"Yue Jie, you mean Huo Yue?" she asked casually.

"Yeah, she's the one. Sister-in-law don't misunderstand she's like a sister for both of us." He said as if panicking that he might lose his newly found Sister-in-law.

Sia laughed at his reaction. All the Mo siblings were devils in business world but extremely adorable and lovable creature. "Relax, I'm not angry at your brother nor at his rumored girlfriend of his." She was about to say something more but she received a call from Qitong, "Listen, I need to attend this call. Talk to you later. Bye" she hanged up without waiting for his reply. Her words made him more worried. He immediately called his brother.

Mo Xiao was already on the verge to bursting from anger. He was forced to look at Huo Yue's designs because his mother told him. He was asking Xu Xin every five minutes if he received any call, but Xu Xin just shook his head, his boss's mother had called him earlier and told that he should not be disturbed until something important.
