Aurora Demour remained distant as she walked toward the bakery counter, the smell of freshly baked bread filling her nostrils. Her gaze shifted through the different baked goods in the display – fresh apple pie, chocolate cake, and a variety of breads. She inhaled deeply, enjoying the delicious smells. But then, she noticed something. In the corner of the counter, there was a jar filled with coins. It looked like a collection jar. She stared at it, her brow furrowed in confusion.
"What can I get for you today, young lady?" A plump man said, suddenly appearing behind the counter. Aurora's gaze shifted from the jar to the man in front of her. He seemed to be the bakery owner, judging from his apron and the way he carried himself. He had a jovial face and a welcoming smile that set the mood at ease.
Aurora hesitated, then said, "Um... I would like a loaf of fresh-baked bread, please."
