The vampires closed in with deliberate and menacing grace, their crimson eyes gleaming in the shadows. The leader, distinguishable by his commanding presence, stepped forward, a wicked grin playing on his lips.

"Stay behind me," Azrael muttered and positioned himself protectively in front of Aurora, his hand extended and moving slowly in circles.

The leader, still wearing that mischievous grin, raised his hand in the air, and the other vampires stopped their encircling movement. A deadly silence fell upon the forest, broken only by the rustling of leaves and the distant chirping of birds.

"You think you can hide her forever, Azrael?" the leader taunted, his voice slithering through the stillness. "She belongs to us. Hand her over, and maybe we will let you live."

Aurora's eyes widened, and her eyes trembled as she heard those words. What was going to happen now? There were a lot of them. How could Azrael defeat all of them?
