Azrael stepped forward and placed a hand on Vespera's shoulder. "We should move on," he said softly. "We need to get Kia somewhere safe." Vespera nodded and began leading the way, still holding Kia's hand.

As they walked ahead, Azrael slowed down and took the opportunity to study the child more closely. He looked to be no older than six years old, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a tattered shirt and pants, both covered in dirt and blood. One shoe was worn out with holes, and the other was missing.
