He had been thinking about Ruo Xi a lot lately, wondering why she suddenly decided to work as a professor at the university. After all, they were both from wealthy families with successful businesses that didn't require them to work.

Jiao Long had asked her about it, but Ruo Xi had simply said that she wanted to do something meaningful with her time.

But Jiao Long wasn't convinced. There had to be more to it than that. So he had hired a private investigator to keep an eye on her, to find out what she was really up to. And when the investigator reported back that Ruo Xi was working at the same university as Pan An, Jiao Long's heart sank.
