"Stop writing. Let's get dinner."

"Wait a bit… one last sentence."

"You've been saying that since the past hour. You're almost done with your essay."

"Then let me finish this."

"No! Come on, I've been waiting for you for hours."

"Ugh… fine!"

Yan Yan frustratingly put her pen. With a sigh coming from her, she stood up from her Indian sit and turned to look at her friend, Zhong Li. 

"Is dinner so important?"

"Yes. Don't you dare skip dinner. I know that you're busy doing your essay, master's activities are hard, yes… but you have to take a break," Zhong Li scolded, Yan Yan playfully rolling her eyes at him. 

"Fine."

She then kept her things inside her bag, the two of them leaving the library. Yan Yan is already taking her master's degree, whilst Zhong Li pushed through with working as a high school teacher. They often meet in the evening to catch up as they have become very close friends.
