Professor Pan An had been looking forward to his time off from the university. He had been teaching for years and felt like he needed a break to recharge his batteries. He planned on spending the day relaxing and catching up on some much-needed rest.

However, his heart sank when he heard his phone ring and when he saw the name, his jaw tightened, not expecting to have a call from him.

He hesitantly answered the call, the professor putting his gadget against his ear.

"Yes?"

"Pan An," he said, his voice stern. "We are to meet at the new Korean BBQ restaurant your mall had just opened."

Pan An didn't say a word. With a sigh, he just asked why, the man further answering his question.

"A family gathering. We hadn't been able to have one for long and I just arrived so let's go. We'll be waiting."
