Omi took the group to a plain courtyard that looked almost empty. There were a few statues and a lawn, but there were no personal touches like previous courtyards had. 

"This is the Jin Courtyard. It has been a masterclass courtyard for over a thousand years. This will be your home while you are in Limina. Don't be afraid to make it your own."

Xasha frowned. "How come this courtyard had been masterless for so long?"

"No one received the calling, and no one volunteered." Gin said straightforwardly.

"Why would they not? Isn't being a Temple Gaurd a great honor?" Megan inquired.

"It is, and it isn't. Being a Temple Gaurd is a lot of work. Well, you will see what a Temple Guard does for yourself in the morning," Omi said with a chuckle. "You can decide for yourself if you know anyone willing to volunteer for the position."
