The car ride is long but I enjoy every minute of it. The excitement is strong and so very overwhelming. I can't believe we are doing this. Trick is just as excited as I am, he hasn't been able to stop talking since we got into the car. 

"Are we almost there?'' I ask him, trying to understand the map on my phone. He chuckles as we drive over a bump. "Yeah, we are almost there, just a few more minutes." He gives me a reassuring smile and I lay my head back on the headrest.

I wipe my sweaty hands on my jeans and take a deep breath. Everything is going to be fine. This is the best day of my life already and we haven't even gotten married yet. Going to Vegas is the oldest trick in the book. People that end up married in Vegas are usually drunk at the time they get married, but I am sober and it still feels right.
