"Are you still jealous?" asked Carla who was walking parallel to Max's side.

"Yeah, I am."

Carla sighed. She tried to smile and kept walking side by side with Max. She knew that Max still loved Jade and Carla wanted to help him to forget her even though she argued that she only needed sex from Max.

"Do you still want to help me, who can't forget her?" Max asked.

"Anything if that's what you wished for. You said, there won't be any more chances for you and her to be together, right?"

Max nodded. And there was really no hope for that. But this vampire girl next to him, with poison emanating from Sherly, was willing to help him forget Jade with just sex.

"But if you're feeling tired and really sick of me, please step back and tell me straight, Carla. I don't want to burden you."
