After New Year's Day came Qin Xiaoran's wedding, she initially planned to have Shen Zhiyi as her bridesmaid, but since the bridesmaid group was full of her close friends, Pei Yu did not feel comfortable letting Shen Zhiyi mingle with them.
"He really doesn't trust me at all," Qin Xiaoran complained to Shen Zhiyi on the wedding day, "Brother Pei Yu must still remember how you were troubled at my birthday party. Times have changed, and my bridesmaids are all trustworthy friends, not some random messy people."
Shen Zhiyi smiled and soothed her, "That's not what he meant; he just doesn't want me out of his sight."
Compared to being somebody's bridesmaid, Pei Yu of course preferred her to always be by his side.
Qin Xiaoran sighed, "Too clingy, don't you find it annoying?"
She had wanted to ask this for a while, especially after hearing that Shen Zhiyi didn't schedule many jobs last winter, spending all her time with Pei Yu.
