章節 16: Finding Her Path

King Zhelang was confused he had no idea what this little pumpkin was talking about. He asked confused "What exactly do you want me to tell them. Is it about the baby? You know telling them that is not really a good idea for security purposes."

Titan placed his palm on his forehead. What exactly was going through Father's head?

He signed again "NOT THAT."

The king stared at Titan. This was an important event. His mind immediately went in a certain direction but he chose not to believe it. Was something bothering him? Did they do something to offend him? He looked straight into Titan's eye, if his thoughts were right then that was the last thing he wanted to do right now.

"But why? Did I and your mother do something to offend you?"

Titan furrowed his brow. Why did he have to think in that direction? They've been the best parents he could ever ask for and he knew better than to repay them with getting mad over petty things.

He bowed his head and shook it

He then began to sign again. "THIS IS NOT WHERE I'M MEANT TO BE. I HAVE TO FOLLOW THE PATH WHICH WAS MADE FOR ME. I'M SURE YOU UNDERSTAND."

The king sighed. He has always known that Titan was not like every other kid but never did he imagine that a day would come when his little pumpkin would choose to leave home. Seeing that Titan's mind was made up, he looked at his wife who was asking the maids to prepare for dessert, and then the people whom he had lied to for all these years. Believe it or not, this was the hardest decision he had to make.

Seeing his troubled face, Titan held his hands tightly and signed "YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ME. I'LL LEAVE AND GO BEYOND THE MOUNTAINS TO FULFILL MY DESTINY. FOR THE PEOPLE, THEY WOULD EVENTUALLY COME TO TERMS WITH IT. AND IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT A RULER, MY JUNIOR BROTHER WOULD MAKE A GOOD ONE."

He chuckled, "How do you know?"

And Titan signed, "I JUST DO."

The king sighed deeply then, took his wine cup, and used his spoon against it to draw the attention of the people. Even the queen was surprised by this act of his.

Noticing that everyone's attention was on him, he drew his chair back and stood up. He went closer to the ministry but still on the podium. After standing for a while, he sighed and turned to signal for Titan to join him. The little pumpkin walked to his side with his head up and his chest up, and an expressionless face. They possessed an aura of transcendency, nobility, and grandeur.

The king smiled faintly at his wife which sent shivers down her spine. She had seen that smile before and from the look of things, it felt as though he was about to take a big decision.

He turned to face the crowd and declared, "There is a piece of very important news I'd like to share today. Eight years ago, we were blessed with this amazing child, Titan. This child has been the apple of my eyes and I believe he has stolen your hearts as well. The crowned prince, Titan wants to embark on a journey. A journey far from this clan."

Everyone began to murmur. It was obvious that they weren't happy about this arrangement. Why would the wise prince want to leave this prosperous kingdom which has thrived not only because of the king but also because of his wisdom? This was a piece of bitter news for all of them.

"Our titan wants to go beyond the mountains and come back more knowledgeable and strong."

On hearing this, the ministers began to feel proud of the young child. He was indeed a Titan. A kid with great strength, intellect, and importance. He could not be compared to other regular kids.

But the king continued.

"Sadly there is something you all do not know. I have kept the truth about Titan's identity for years but this child wants the truth to be revealed before he leaves."

Now everyone was bewildered. It doesn't matter if the king kept a secret from them. He is the king and everything he does is right. But why does his word portray that this secret might be bigger than they all expected?

The king sighed heavily but still maintained an authoritative face that commands respect. He then held onto Titan's hands and said, "I present to you, princess Titan of the Lynx clan. My daughter."

### At the Shaolin temple, it took a while for master Shi De to recover from the turbulence. He rubbed his temples and realizing that even the creatures were still in disarray, the master started an ice formation. The speed of his fingers was exceptionally fast activation the highest level of his Chi.

After a while, the other disciples began to regain their senses but so did the creatures as well. Trying to keep the creatures distracted while master Shi De focuses on the ice formation, the disciples attacked with all they had while two other disciples carried the lifeless-looking Lu Feng away.

The master was so focused on the ice formation for approximately thirty minutes before finally, he released it. Turning all the hideous creatures to ice. He then formed an ice sword and sliced both gigantic creature's head off. As done that, all the other smaller creatures melted into a slimy disgusting green liquid.

The master looked sternly at the once peaceful Shaolin temple and his gaze turned two shades darker. How did things get to this point? This temple has never faced problems for the past three thousand years. He sighed deeply. Paying no attention to anyone, he walked straight to the altar where Buddha was. None of the disciples dared talk to him because it was obvious he had activated the seventh level of his chi and needed time to regain himself.

They began to clean up and when they were done, they all went to their rooms. Nobody approached zagan either because he had his eyes closed and sat as if meditating. They had no idea how the walls of master Shi De's room broke but one thing was for sure. Whatever caused the wall to fall was a powerful force.

As soon as the last drop of tears fell from Zagan's eyes, the rain stopped and a strand of his hair turned red. When he opened his eyes, everyone was gone. He walked to the terrace and looked at the night sky. The beautiful sky has no stars, apparently, the sky might also be as sad as he was. He stared at the sky for hours. Why did problems always follow him wherever he went? Finally, he went back to his quarters.

After he was gone, something moved in the darkness. A shadow as dark as the night sky. The shadow emitted a dissatisfied aura.
