After their encounter with the enigmatic old knight and the strange events surrounding Helius's underwear, Alaric and Zanuba continued their journey. Though still amused by the "treasure" they found, one thing couldn't be ignored: Sir Dorian's warning about the increasingly difficult path ahead.
They now stood at the base of towering mountains, their peaks looming ominously before them. The air felt cold and tense, as if something was waiting in the distance. Alaric gazed at the sky, his eyes narrowing as he sensed a disturbance in the flow of energy around them.
"It seems like we're in for more than just bad weather," Alaric muttered, slightly concerned.
Zanuba, walking behind him, touched the surface of the nearby rocks, marveling at the height of the mountains above them. "Aren't these just regular mountains? What could be worse than the poison in the desert we crossed earlier?"
