"Did you find him?" Ariana called Aiden for the tenth time; she didn't know how she had kept herself intact and together till now. All she knew was that the second she found out that Nicolai was missing, her heart fell somewhere around her stomach. 

Usually she would have cared what her mother thought or what she was thinking, but in front of the question of Nicolai's safety, Ariana did not care about anything. She only wanted—no, she needed to know that he was fine.
