Before Andromeda got the chance to say anything, her phone screen lit up and buzzed on her desk, cutting her short as it succeeded in drawing their attention to it.

Slowly, both ladies averted their gaze from the phone and brought it to the other person.

Before Andromeda could react, Jian Xiaofei pressed her lips together and lifted her shoulders in a shrug.

"I am guessing it is important," she stated sensing Andromeda's hesitation. 

Why both of them had hesitated remained not a shock because the caller was an unknown number. 

"Sure. Let me see for myself then."

She pushed closer on her chair to the side of her desk where the phone was as her hands reached for the telephone.

"Taking it up, Andromeda calmly politely questioned, "Hello?"

Even Jian Xiaofei felt captivated instantly by her professional, yet not so uptight tone.
