 As noon approached, the members of Team 6 decided to prepare the meat from one of the slain animals for their meal. Joane quickly set up a basic fire camp, while Kizaer and Ciona took care of cleaning and dividing the meat that would serve as their sustenance and part they would discharge.

Shen had brought large cloths in his backpack and was using them to wrap the carcasses of the slain animals. Since the Iron-Tailed Monkeys always traveled in packs, the team deduced that counts of the kills would increase swift. By finishing the biweekly mission quickly, they could also sell the carcasses for some extra money.

Kizaer, accustomed to handling carcasses, worked skillfully and calmly. He allowed himself to observe each team member and noticed that Shen was frowning. "What's bothering you, Shen? Is something on your mind?"
