Chapter 40: Battle of Peace City Begins!
Ariel was able to save Frederica. Frederica was uninjured and fine because of the wind shield. Ariel summoned Alice to fight against Toffer. But he saw Toya and Arthur fighting Toffer. He went closer to them.
"Don't interfere, Ariel," Toya shouted and continued fighting.
"Are you guys sure?" Ariel shouted.
"Yeah, let me and Toya finish him, Ariel," Arthur loudly said. Ariel decided not to interfere with them. Meanwhile Anna healed Frederica and Ronald was assigned to protect Anna. There were Zuchs everywhere. And the kings and their crews fought the Zuchs.
Frederica's crew, Charwell , arrived in order to protect their leader.
"Frederica, are you okay?" said a thin but tall guy to Frederica.
"Yeah, I am good, thanks to the Wind King and his crew," Frederica smilingly said.
"But you guys are late, what happened, Tigrio?" Frederica said to that thin and tall guy who was called Tigrio. He was wearing a shirt with panther marks on it. He had short pants. He was carrying nothing.
Suddenly Tigrio started shaking. And his body started to change. He became a tiger man. Anna and Ronald understood Tigrio was a beast elemental user. Beast elemental core lets its user use the powers of a certain animal.
"Captain, you should be more careful," a tiny guy wearing a red hat said to Frederica.
"You are right, Char," Frederica said to the tiny guy named Char.
"Why are you so small?" Anna said to Char.
"It is because of a curse," Char said to Anna.
"Let's chat later. Where are the others?" Frederica said to Tigrio.
"They are…..fighting," Tigrio uncertainly said.
"Fighting against who?" Frederica said to Tigrio.
"CBF21."
"The Celestial Backup Force is already here?" Frederica worriedly said.
"Yeah," Tigrio said while having his face down.
Celestial Backup Force is a kind of army which is a bunch of strong elemental and magic users who are as strong as Zuch Generals. Most of the Generals are chosen from CBF. There are many CBF forces and each of them has a number which represents their power level. CBF0 is the strongest of them and CBF50 is the weakest among them.
"Let's go there and fight CBF21. You guys of White Eagles can join your king and thanks for your help," Frederica said and headed to CBF21 in order to back up the other members of Charwell. Anna and Ronald were anticipating Zuch soldiers from interfering in the battle with Toffer.
Toya and Arthur were fighting Toffer with whatever they had. Arthur activated his Battleman Form. Toya on the other hand, fought Toffer with his newly learned Double Sword Style technique.
Arthur with his Battleman Form was dominating over Toffer. He was delivering Sun Slash one after another. Toffer had no choice but to defend himself from Arthur's attacks. Arthur had his wings opened.
Arthur stopped attacking for a moment in order to get closer to Toffer. Toffer didn't want to waste this chance and had his flames raised. His body had a high temperature due to those flames. Arthur closed in to attack but Toffer was faster.
Toffer punched Arthur hard on his face. Arthur knew he had to strike this time in order to win and so he moved his axe blindly. He missed Toffer. And Toffer punched Arthur again on his stomach. Arthur used Sun Fist to deliver Toffer a destructive punch.
Toffer decreased his body temperature and he filled his body with water. Arthur punched but the punch got through Toffer's water body.
Arthur was shocked. Arthur again tried to deliver a punch with his right hand this time. The results were the same. It didn't hurt Toffer. Toffer smirked.
"You can't hit me," Toffer laughed and said.
"Mastering Absolute Manipulation helps a lot I guess," Arthur said.
"Don't tell me you have not mastered Absolute Manipulation even though you can use Nithius," Toffer said and laughed.
"I guess you are right," Arthur said and took out his hands from Toffer's body. Toffer backed down a little and so did Arthur. Toya didn't interfere in the fight and was waiting for the right moment.
"So let's have a final fight," Toffer said and smirked.
"Let's do it," Arthur exclaimed.
Both of them turned on their sun and fire power to their limit. Their bodies were overwhelmed from the heavy temperature.
They both started rushing to each other. They had their fists locked up. They knew they had only one chance. Finally they clashed. Toffer delivered several punches in a row and Arthur could do nothing but take damage. Arthur was slammed on the ground. He lost the fight.
Meanwhile, William was fighting Grigol. Grigol had some soldiers made from sand. They were attacking William one after another. William had to slash every single of them in order to reach Grigol.
William summoned a shadow dragon using his elemental powers. It was a big dragon which stepped over sand soldiers and destroyed them easily. Grigol was losing stamina due to creating so many sand soldiers. He had no choice but to retreat.
William cleared up the army of sand soldiers. Grigol was lying on ground after losing all of his willpower and stamina.
William walked to him.
"You are strong, Grigol," William said to Grigol with a cold face.
"How do you explain it? I lost to you," Grigol said with a broken face.
"A loser becomes a winner," William said.
"I lost everything I had. I have nothing to live for now," Grigol said.
"Why don't you live for the people of this city?" William said.
"What do you mean?" Grigol said and stood up.
"Isn't leaving for the city of Peacemaker a kind of prestige itself?" William said.
"How can I?" Grigol said.
"Get Toffer out of here and defend this city and the people of this city. Don't forget it is now an abandoned continent," William said and turned around. He started walking to the location of Toffer.
"I…..will….do it," Grigol said with a reassured face.
William was walking towards Toffer but he got surrounded by CBF6.
"William K Shadow?" a man with a designed mask said to William.
"That's me," William said with a strong face.
"We are ordered to capture you at any cost," said the mask guy.
"Is that so? Even if you dogs die?" Willam said and smirked.
"Yes."
