In the middle of a grand palace made up of shining black stones, there stood a large round rock and a dark, fizzy figure sat upon it.
The figure had two large black horns protruding out of his head while a red blood-like liquid covered his body.
The figure wore a dark red metal-like shawl while a Kamar band made up of bones acted as a belt that separated the shawl into the upper and lower parts and a black crown made up of a bone-like structure adorned his head.
on the left side of the round, rock slept a large lion with blazing blood-like eyes and dark red gutting fur while on the other side slept a large black-colored bull with some strange spell-like letters constantly moving around its body and giving off a very sad feeling of death from its breath.
The Lion and the bull suddenly shot their eyes open and looked towards the figure which they were sleeping around.
" Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh, " A large cry full of pain, anger, and hatred suddenly erupted from the figure in almost a godly way and tremors started to ring out in the whole underworld of Mesopotamia.
' CRACK - CRACK, BOOOOOoooomMMM ' the ground started to crack and the sky started to weep in fear such was the result only from a cry from the figure and
" What made you cry like that husband ?? " a soothing voice came from the void and the cracked land started to revert back to its normal state and the voice of the figure was quickly cut from the underworld by a thin transparent barrier.
The figure slowly opened its eyes while clenching his hands tightly and gritting his teeth as golden-colored blood flowed out of them.
A look of agony and anger masked the face of the figure and he slowly turned his head towards his wife.
" My Soul clone in the Hindu pantheon died, No...it wasn't exactly killed....but it was completely cut off from me.....ugggghhhhh cough - cough " the figure stopped abruptly as a spray of blood once again came out of his mouth.
" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " the fizzy figure covered by black most suddenly had a very obvious look of exclamation on her face.
" Can defeat and cut off your soul clone..... I don't think in the Hindu pantheon, apart from the Trimurti or the top ones of the seven sages anyone else can do this " the figure spoke in a serious voice while all the gentleness and softness which she previously carried had completely disappeared.
" Cough - cough. Be extra careful towards any news from the Hindu pantheon and tell me as soon as anything happens, I am going to need some time to recover, and don't wake me up in between." The male spoke with seriousness while the fire of anger still burned in his eyes.
" Hummphhhh. " The woman disappeared from there and appeared out of the barrier.
" Don't let any news regarding Him being Injured, " The woman spoke while looking to her right as a free figure in dark armor appeared over there.
" Yes, my queen. We shall do as you say. " a sickly voice came from the dark armor and the whole person disappeared after bowing to the woman.
" This feeling that something big is going to happen is now ringing more louder than ever in my heart. " the ruler of the Mesopotamian underworld and the Goddess of death, Ereshkigal thought with some complex mood.
~~~~~~
" Aaaahhhh I am so handsome aren't I, my dear ?? " Indra asked the beautiful apsara in his lap, but this sentence was more like a statement rather than a question and the Apsara nodded with a charming smile while knowing what may happen to her if she says 'No' as an answer.
" Oh Great King of Heaven and the three realms, Lord Brihaspati is coming here. " The Gatekeeper came inside and spoke this cringe line respectfully while kneeling on his one knee.
" Hmmpphh ?? Guru Brihaspati is coming ??!! " Indra quickly swept away the Apsara and the woman knowing her limits quickly disappeared from the castle room.
" This student Bows to the teacher, and may I wonder what brings the teacher here ?? " Indra spoke in a respectful tone as even though he was famous for being a coward and trickster but it doesn't mean that he is a completely disrespectful prick.
At least in front of others, he isn't.
" Hahaha can't I come and visit my student if I just want to ?? Do you want to send me back so eagerly ?? " Brihaspati spoke with a dissatisfied laugh.
" I am sorry for my rude behavior teacher and you can come anytime you want and visit this student of yours. " Indra spoke with an apologetic smile on his face.
" Let's leave all this and get to the main point, as you also seem to be busy " Brihaspati spoke in a taunting way.
Indra didn't speak anything as he can understand that his teacher was referring to his lifestyle and he didn't have any justification for that.
' If your Father wasn't a Maharishi and you weren't a big devotee of Lord Vishnu then heck you would have become the teacher of us Devas ' Indra thought contemptuously in his mind as although Shukra and Brihaspati are called the teachers of Asuras and Devas respectively but in fact, they haven't taught nearly anything to the first generation of these races.
Still, Brihaspati was very well respected in the Deva race as he had nurtured the Eldest son of the Sun God to be able to gain the power to be called 'The God of Death and appointed as the King of Underworld by the Trimurti but in Indra's eyes this was like a very big thorn and he didn't like all this bowing and talking respectfully which he had to do in front of Brihaspati.
But still, he can't tell what he has in his heart so he could only force a fake smile on his face, just like he had been doing for several thousand years.
~~~~~ ( Thousand words later. )
" Why are those Asuras also invited for the Samudra Manthan? Do you think we can share Amrita with THEM ?? Share Amrita, the drink of immortality with our fiercest enemies? Do the Trimurti think of us as stupid dogs ?!!! " Indra shouted with an angry and incomprehensible look on his face, as he can't understand what the Trimurti was thinking while deciding this.
" I also can't understand it, but there is nothing we can do as this was decided by Lord Shiva himself and you know how his character is? " Brihaspati spoke in a calm voice while ignoring Indra's outrage, as even though not that common nowadays but Indra raging like this is not an uncommon scene for him.
" Uggghhhhhhhhhh " Indra didn't know what to do and could only let go of his rage at last,
" Well it's not like the Asuras are equal or more powerful than us, so after the Amrita comes out of the Cosmic ocean we can just wage a war with over the Immortal Nectar. " Indra spoke with a confident and sly smile while praising the level of smartness he possessed.
" Well that's up to you and the other Devas to decide but I advise you to stay low for this year and don't cause any unnecessary chaos. " Brihaspati walked out of the hall after a warning from Indra.
' Do you think I am some child ?? And I cause Unnecessary trouble? Who do you think you are, you old fart? ' Indra looked at the back of Brihaspati with a venomous gaze.
" I should call Vali to also let him come to the Samudra Manthan with me. Although he is only a demigod son but his powers rival even some of the top devas. He is my prideful son after all haha hahaha " Indra laughed happily with a prideful smile on his face.
His son Vali was half Vanara( Monkey race ) but it didn't stop him from inheriting his supreme genes.
Just like him, Vali was also the King of his race and had reached God class in just some several hundred years and there are very high chances of him going to reach the High god class in the future and apart from all this, his son was also born with an amazing natural born ability, an ability which even made him, Indra the King of Gods envy him.
Apart from pride, Vali was also like psychological happiness for him as that son Yama of the Sun God had become the Death God and if everything went on like this, then it won't take much time until Vali leaves behind Yama in terms of strength.
" Somebody go to the middle realm and tell Vali that I have called for him. " Indra shouted loudly in the throne room and went towards his private quarters.
" As you say, my King, " One of the Rudras who stood near the gates replied respectfully and disappeared from there.
