However, he had reasons not to show mercy. Veria had heard directly from her daughter the whole story involving this figure and his involvement with the dark elves.

'He cared for the weak without any reason... saved my daughter who was about to be captured... and even gifted me...' Veria couldn't reconcile the stories of a Heaven-Defier with the whale.
