章節 19: Blacksmith and Inn!
"Young Friend, If you want to go hunting again make sure to visit the Dimming Light Blacksmith Shop to get yourself a good armor, And if you want somewhere to rest I recommend the Ferocious Bear Inn. when you go there just tell them my name and you will get some additional benefits, that's also where I live!" Old man Kretoss reminded Stone who was leaving his butchery while waving his hands with a wide smile.
"Also, don't forget to come here every week to get your share of the Guide Book Payment!"
"Yes Yes! Thank you, Old Kretoss!"
"Hahaha! Now then, Young friend, Have fun! and do consider joining the Adventurer Guild!"
"Roger!" Stone said as he made his way to look for the Blacksmith with a slight smile on his face.
His relationship with the old man reached a level where they can call themselves good ol' friends.
After talking for hours, Kretoss also showed Stone how to skin and dissect monsters, and also some Knife arts made for butcherers.
But, what made them become as they are now was that they were both comfortable with the other.
Like last time, Stone searched for the Blacksmith's Shop by asking many villagers but it was easier, as this time he knew exactly what to look for.
Stone finally found his desired building, A small but stylish 2 story shop.
It seems that the Owner really took care of it.
He slowly opened the wooden door and once he entered he was welcomed by a room full of good quality weapons, Fine armors, and some Custom Adventurer Clothes.
there was a youth sitting on the counter who looked around 18~20 Y.o he had fine Dirty golden hair, and a bored expression on his not-so-bad face even though he was sleeping.
Stone made his way towards him and knocked on the counter waking up the sleepy guy, He opened his eyes slowly, and then with a yawn, He calmly said.
"How can I help you? Dear Customer!"
"I came here to buy an armor!"
"An adventurer, Huh? You don't look like one."
"I'm not, you can think of me as a solo hunter for now." Stone smiled hinting at the young man to stop questioning and do his job.
"Ok, Please wait here for a moment." The young man turned around and entered a room behind him that looked like the Smithy as there was the sound of hitting metal coming out of it.
After a while, he came back with a... Dwarf!!
"I heard you want to buy an Armor, Right? what type of armor do you want?" The dwarf said as he analyzed Stone from head to toe.
"I would like a Light armor, something that won't restrict my movement, not too flashy, and have good defensive capabilities."
"Hmm, I see! Good, then I got something you'll like."
"Before that... How did you find out about my shop?"
"Oh, it was Old Kretoss from the Adventurer guild!"
"Hoo, so it was young Kretoss! Very well then, Come in!" The blacksmith said as he waved his hand inviting Stone to follow him to the Smithy.
'Young Kretoss! Just how old is this Dwarf?' Stone thought confused by the words of the Blacksmith.
he followed him into the Smithy and the Dwarf took out some armor, Stone tried them but he didn't like any of them.
Then the blacksmith took out a faint silver-colored armor set, And, it looked good.
Stone tried it on and was happy with it, it even fits him pretty well too.
"Ok, I'll go with this."
"Mhm, you have good tastes, young man."
"Now then, for the price, it will be 98 Coins."
"What? how can you sell it to him for 98 Coins, that's too cheap!" The young man jumped up as he said.
"He's been sent here by Young Kretoss, that guy won't talk with just anyone, He must be worth the price!" The dwarf said as he looked at Stone again.
Stone remained calm and he took out the Coins, It was a bit suspicious, but his senses told him that it was fine, so he decided to go with it.
"Alright!"
"It's a good price I tell you!" The young man said again.
Stone handed the copper Fantasy Coins over to the man, wore the armor, and left.
He then looked for the Inn.
When he finally found the bustling building it was already night!
it was a 3 story building, from the looks of it the First floor was like a restaurant where people sit and eat, like the Adventurer guild's Building. While the 2nd and 3rd were made for rooms.
"Welcome to the Ferocious Bear Inn!" A young girl around Stone's age... Shouted once he entered from the big wooden gate.
"How can I help you!" The girl said with a warm smile, She was a red-haired beauty, her Diamond colored eyes brimming with light looked as if they're shining, she had outstanding curves for a girl of her age and was unsurprisingly energetic.
"I would like to rent a room for a few days here, I was also sent here by Kretoss from the Adventurer guild!"
"AH! Papa sent you here?? That's very strange, to think that papa will recommend the Inn to someone and even tell him his name. That's strange, very strange!"
*Cough* *Cough*
"Ah, sorry! please follow me, I will lead you to my mother, she will be the one who'll give you the key to your room!"
"I didn't expect Old Kretoss to have a daughter around my age, a beautiful one at that" Stone said with a smile. although he didn't want to flirt, the way he said it
'Did he just say that I'm beautiful?' Kretoss's daughter blushed a little.
Although it made her happy that someone of her age called her beautiful, it's not like no one ever said that to her, In fact, she hears it at least 5 times a day.
"Little Tiana, please bring me another bottle of beer." One of the women who was sitting at a table with her friends called out to Tiana when she saw it passing by.
"Young Tiana, bring me the usual!" Another one called out, this time it was an adventurer-looking middle-aged man.
"Roger, Miss Teressa, and Mister Gabriel!"
Stone and Tiana finally made it to the Inn's kitchen where a gorgeous Red-haired woman who seemed to be around 30-sum Years Old was busy cooking.
"Mama! we got a new customer!"
"Ok, please tell him to wait at the counter I will be there in a minute!" The woman said with a sweet voice without looking.
"But, he was sent here by papa!"
"Huh? your father sent someone?" the woman finally stopped what she was doing and turned around looking straight at Stone with her beautiful Diamond-like eyes.
"Hmm, you seem to be around Tiana's age... can you tell me what is my husband for you?"
"I guess you can say we're... Friends?"
"Hmm, strange... Very strange! Welp that's that, you want to rent a room, right? Then, Tiana give him a key to one of the rooms on the 2nd floor! as for the payment, because you were sent here by Kretoss so you don't need to pay, it's not every day he sends someone here, I think it's even the first time!"
"It's time for dinner so you can get whatever you want, just look at the menu outside! But you'll have to pay! You can call me Isabella by the way! what about you?!"
"Thank you, Miss Isabella! My name's Stone!"
"Stone, huh? Very... Unique name, I guess?"
"Haha, I hear that a lot!"
With that Isabella turned around and continued her cooking while Stone followed Tiana who was going back with the Bear for the women and a Huge Golden Steak for the Adventurer.
After that, she gave Stone the key to his room, and he looked for something to eat.
"Now that I think about it, I didn't eat anything from dinner, but that was hours ago!"
{The pill that Host ate earlier should have been the cause!}
"Oh, that Makes sense!"
With that stone picked the Black Chicken Menu and the Flying Cow Steak as well as some kind of Slime juice that was Highly recommended and it was even the signature Drink of the Inn.
After finishing eating his Delicious dinner, Stone made his way to his room, Then he teleported out to the Flying Castle, His New House.
Then finally jumped to the bed, with a long sigh he said.
"What a long day this was!" And with a smile, He slept!
