Two years had passed since Shui Bing'er joined the Tyrant Empress team.
During that time, Tang Zhen finally got word about Shrek Academy, just like in the original story, they moved to Heaven Dou Imperial Academy due to a lack of funds and resources. Regardless of how much their personalities may have changed, Tang San, Dai Mubai, Oscar, and Ma Hong Jun were still geniuses in their own right.
The difference this time was that Dugu Bo was not present to stop their entry when they bullied Xue Beng and were allowed entry due to Qin Ming's influence and his status as an alumni from Shrek Academy.
The two years have proven extremely beneficial to the team. Tang Zhen heard from Dugu Bo that during his travels, he came across a place so dangerous that even he didn't dare to cross it. It was a place in between the mountains that seperate the mainland from the extreme north. Located in a bowl like shape in the middle of the mountains, it trapped the storm systems up there where constant thunderstrikes were beating down turning it into a desolate wasteland. Hence why people go around by sea to reach the extreme north.
The aptly named Thunder Plains, was a place that even the Thunder Douluo Yu Yuanzhen couldn't conquer. Although not confirmed, legends say that in his arrogance, he tried to hone his skills there by challenging the natural lightning and ended up injured.
A passing scholar thus created a poem to warn travelers to avoid the place.

Tang Zhen with his Thunder Body Tempering Technique, took a year to go and temper his body. It was an ardous task and he constantly felt like he was about to be ripped apart. After he became nore proficient and his body was able to get stronger, he was able to stay longer.
During that time, Ning Rongrong, Ye Lingling and Shui Bing'er trained and mastered the Heart Seperation Control technique which allowed them to target multiple people with their abilities.
Xiao Wu reluctantly parted ways with the group and was accompanied by Dugu Bo to the Star Dou forest and met back up with Da Ming and Er Ming to focus on cultivation.
It came as a shock to everyone that Xiao Wu was a transformed 100,000 year soul beast but Xiao Wu felt that it was time to tell everyone the truth. To her joy, everyone accepted her saying that no matter what she wa still their sister Xiao Wu.
The Titled Douluos, reluctantly accepted the fact after seeing Ringrong and Dugu Yan still cared for her and also threatened them sweetly.
Seeing Xiao Wu's relationship with both of them, they adopted her as their granddaughter much to Rongrong and Dugu Yan's joy.
Xiao Wu spent much time catching up with Da Ming and Er Ming, telling them about her sisters and her beloved big brother Tang Zhen.
Shocked that their sister fell in love with a human, they still respected her wishes especially after hearing three Titled Douluos decided to adopt her.
Dugu Yan spent time training her poison abilities and control with Dugu Bo.
Zhu Zhuqing spent time with Sword Douluo training on her speed and precision.
Liu Erlong was taken in by Bone Douluo and developed a father-daughter like relationship.
They all agreed to spend a full year on individual training before meeting back up.
Once the year was up, there was a joyous and tearful reunion except for Tang Zhen. After wondering where he was, suddenly the sky darkened and there was a huge Thunder strike that landed in the courtyard. Thinking they were under attack, everyone got ready until the smoke cleared and all the girls passed out from bloody noses.
Tang Zhen got up Terminator style naked.
After a massive scolding/beating and hours of him on his knees begging for mercy, he finally convinced the girls that he wasn't naked on purpose. The Thunder used to temper his body burned everything away.
Still not believing him, he had to admit his most embarrassing moment of when he first started, the Thunder burned away all of his hair leaving him bald which made all the girls laugh until their stomachs cramped.
During the second year, he went on dates with each of the girls with Ye Lingling and Shui Bing'er officially becoming his girlfriends and learning the essentials of soul control.
With Ye Lingling now able to perform the Shunshin and use the Rasengan, that meant that Rongrong and her could at least protect themselves or run to buy time for help to come in the event they need it.
Ning Rongrong /Ye Lingling reached level 44, Xiao Wu/Zhu Zhuqing reached level 48 and Dugu Yan/Shui Bing'er reached level 52. Tang Zhen reached level 62.
When he hit level 60, the system visited him again.
"Notice. Congratulations host for reaching level 60. Initializing care package." The cold mechanical voice echoed in his mind.
Without wasting a beat, Tang Zhen laid into the system.
"HEY! YOU DARE SHOW UP AGAIN? HOW COME I DIDN'T GET SASUKE'S FIRE ELEMENT YOU CHEAP ASS SYSTEM?!"
"Notice. Due to host's incessant whining, removing one item from the care package."
"SYSTEM YOU'RE THE GREATEST! EVEN THE GODS ARE BELOW YOU THEY SHOULD PROMOTE YOU!" Tang Zhen's tone changed immediately.
"...heh"
.....his eye started twitching uncontrollably.
In the next care package, he received a god given soul ring from the dragon god reaching 90,000 years and he was given a tasked with eliminating an evil soul beast that was disturbing the natural order of things alone. He was allowed to absorb the ring after he killed it. The problem was it was a 100,000 year old soul beast so he decided to take care of it when he hit level 70.
Next he received a choice to either revive Xiao Wu's mom(who i am naming Ah Rou. Saw this in another fic but dont remember where. But shout out to you) or to revive Ah Yin.
Although he coveted Ah Yin's beauty, he would look for an opportunity next time. Xiao Wu's happiness took precedence. As for how, turns out that Ah Rou wasn't completely dead.
In this world, Da Ming and Er Ming found the second Second Lovesick Heartbreak Red in a different part of the forest. Before dying, she was fed the petals and was just turned back into a rabbit.
The system would restore her memories (Just roll with it. She's not in the harem but I have a plan for her.) and she would be able to transform into a human with a bestowed Body Transformation Pill. Granted she would not have her cultivation level but better then being 6 feet under.
After many tears and curses from Xiao Wu for keeping this from her, Da Min and Er Ming planned to tell her the next time they saw her but decided against it after they heard she was living a good life. They didn't have a way to fully ressurect Ah Rou so they kept it a secret to allow Xiao Wu to enjoy her time with her sisters and lover.
A wave of pink mist erupted from the body of the rabbit, and a mature woman that looked like an older Xiao Wu slowly walked out.
"M-mama?" Xiao Wu shakily asked. Eyes brimming with hope.
"X-Xiao Wu." Ah Rou said weakly.
Xiao Wu burst forward and hugged her mom after almost 10 years.
After a tearful reunion, Tang Zhen, Xiao Wu, and Ah Rou returned to the group.
The last thing Tang Zhen noticed was when he reached level 60, his Susanoo was finally able to get to the armored stage.
Back to the present, we see the group heading to the Heaven Dou Imperial City for the qualifier matches of the Continental Soul Master Elite Tournament.
Walking down the street, the group accompanied by Dugu Bo walked to the arena when they heard a familiar voice.
"E-Erlong is that you?!" A shocked voice exclaimed. Turning around, everyone was shocked to see that it was Flander who was out doing some scheming in order to get money. Unexpectedly, he saw Liu Erlong but something was wrong, she was way too young. She was just as beautiful as he remembered her from their youth roaming the continent as the Golden Iron Triangle.
"Boss Flander!" Liu Erlong exclaimed surprised but happy to see her old friend. She gave him a brotherly hug which he gladly returned.
"Flander where have you been? We've been loo-"
Another familiar but unwelcomed voice rang out.
Turning again they saw a shocked Yu Xiaogang. When he saw Liu Erlong again, his heart couldn't help but beat. Although he ran away from their wedding years ago, he still liked her. The problem was he assumed she was old now and preferred the company of younger women. He preferred prostitutes because all he had to do was pay money.
But seeing Liu Erlong as beautiful as she was when they first met, he wasted no efforts confident she would let him bed her.
Strolling over confidently, he asked.
"Erlong it's been so long. I've missed you. I thought of you every day and I finally get to see you." He said with fake tears in his eyes.
Liu Erlong seeing this narrowed her eyes with rage. She was about to explode on him but before she could she was brought into someone's arms and Yu Xiaogang's hand was pushed away.
Turning, she saw Tang Zhen holding her by the waste pulling her closer.
"Stay away from my woman Yu Xiaogang." Tang Zhen said.
As if lightning struck them, Flander and Yu Xiaogang's face changed. Flander, lamenting his missed chance with her again looked down sad. Yu Xiaogang on the other hand was livid. This boy was touching his woman!
"TANG ZHAN WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE WOMAN? SHE IS MINE! SHE BELONGS TO ME!" He yelled with red eyes.
Flander was stunned by the change in his friend.
"She's not an object you keep. I love Erlong and I will not allow anyone else to touch her." Tang Zhen said coldly.
"ERLONG IS HE SAYING THE TRUTH?"
"Yes, I am Tang Zhen's woman now. I love him and he loves me. So go away Yu Xiaogang and never appear before me again." Liu Erlong said coldly.
"HAHAHAHA YOU'RE AN OLD WOMAN WITH A BOY HOW DISGRACEFUL!" Flander having heard enough punched Yu Xiaogang.
"F-Flander, you-!" He stammered in disbelief
"That's Erlong you're talking to." Flander said coldly.
"Master! What happened?" A blue haired boy walked over with a group of others. Looking at the crowd of people, Tang San was surprised to see Xiao Wu after so long.
Dai Mubai seeing Zhu Zhuqing again couldn't help but lecherously look her up and down licking his lips.
The other boys, minus one, in the group were the same giving the other girls a look, drawing disgusted looks from the sole 2 females in the group.
"Xiao Ao, they're all extremely beautiful but what about me?" A girl asked Oscar.
"You're the most beautiful to me Yiran." Oscar said lovingly.
"Meng Yiran? With Oscar? How did that happen?" Tang Zhen thought.
"My what a handsome man." Jiang Zhu said timidly. A bulky boy heard this and got angry glaring at Tang Zhen. Meng Yiran also saw him and although he was extremely handsome, she still loved Oscar.
"Zhuqing, you came to support me! I am so happy!" Dai Mubai exclaimed. Although the twins at Soutuo City were his favorite play things, Zhu Zhuqing's beauty and body put both of them to shame.
"Hmpf. I didn't come here to support you. We all came here to participate in the Continental Soul Master Elite Tournament. Also, you and I have nothing to do with each other anymore." Zhu Zhuqing said coldly.
"What? What do you mean?"
Tang Zhen stepped up and pulled her into a searing kiss causing her to squeak in surprise. Then he turned and pulled Xiao Wu into his arms and did the same. Dai Mubai and Tang San both spit out blood.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS! ZHUQUING I NEVER TOOK YOU AS THAT KIND OF WOMAN. YOU WOULD CHEAT ON YOUR FIANCE?" Dai Mubai screamed in rage.
"XIAO WU, I'VE LOVED YOU SINCE WE WERE AT NUODING ACADEMY, HOW CAN YOU BOTH BE WITH THE SAME MAN?" Tang San, unable to see his goddess with someone else, was furious.
"Tang San! Don't give me that! I love big brother Tang Zhen and neither of you nor that egg head shaped man have the right to talk. We all know that you had your fair share of prostitutes and spent time with them in the Rose Hotel!" Xiao Wu exclaimed upset.
All three turned pale gazing at the women to see if they knew what they have been doing. After confirming, they still weren't willing to give up.
"Zhuqing, I am your fiancé, the royal family wouldn't allow you to do this! Please come back to me and I will love you." Dai Mubai pleaded.
"Hoh. I would like to see what the Star Luo Royal family can do to her when she is under my protection." Dugo Bo said stepping forward. Over the years training and sparring with Bone and Sword Douluo, along with him controlling his poison, he rose to level 94.
"Why would you get involved with the Star Luo Royal Family? This has nothing to do with you!" Dai Mubai said indignantly but was forced to the ground by his pressure.
"I don't have to explain to you or your father. If I want to, I can wipe out Star Luo City at any time."
"Enough Uncle Dugu. It's time for us to head inside." Tang Zhen said.
With that the Tyrant Empress team all turned and left leaving a fuming Shrek Team.
"Xiao San, Mubai, you must lead the team to victory against them. By my calculations, they should still be near your levels. Tang Zhen is the one you must keep an eye out for. We sacrificed too much for this second team slot from the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy." Yu Xiaogang said through gritted teeth.
"Yes Master." Tang San and Dai Mubai said equally frustrated.
With that they headed inside to begin with the qualifiers.
