In the end, he failed to defy his fate of dying by the son of destiny. But instead, broke through the shackles of fate itself as he gets reincarnated into another world governed by spirit masters and spirit beasts.

And ironically, he reincarnates as the Son of Destiny of the current era, Huo Yuhao.
