Doomsday Jigsaw Puzzle

I read MTL till chapter 58 and its really really good. MC is really intelligent and that’s s what i like about this novel. It reminds me of My House of Horrors. Short summary: World background is lit. Its a thriller more than an action or horror novel. Highly recommended. Long summary: Dont take it too seriously cuz i have no way with words and these are just ramblings. The novel is about MC’s normal earth transformed into this post apocalyptic world over the course of 700 years. MC is and has always been crazy about solving puzzle games and such and is hence analysing always and has straight ice flowing in his veins. Said ice is very useful as being scared and other negative emotions attracts “Depraved” monsters. Gets transmigrated to 700 years in the future, where humans only live in a tower, a tower in which the higher the floor you live in the higher up in society you are. Humanity has a harsh social system and lower rungs are treated like disposables and suppressed. The world outside the tower has been transformed into zones of horror having evil energy. Each zone can be classified into a color depicting its danger level - white, blue, purple, red, in increasing order. Every 4 hours you stay outside the tower you get a negative status effect. These zones will have “Depraved” beings which are normal beings transformed into evil creatures due to becoming twisted. Ofc the higher the danger level of the zone the more powerful beings you will encounter, with the higher level ones being intelligent enough to converse with you. You either kill them, or solve the reson behind the, becoming twisted. Solving the whole zone (solving alpha of said zone for example) will give you a puzzle piece, ehich will comvert said zone into a peaceful stromghold for holder of puzzle piece. Puzzle pueces can be combined and hence if all the zones outside the tower are solved, humanity can go back to normal. Humans and depraved beings share a common power system which has stages which increase from 1. Humans and depraved beings can acquire multiple abilities. Cuz of mtl i aint too sure about how you acquire these abilities but i guess you can acquire them from defeating monsters or just acquire it put of thin air. Humans try to stay out of the tower in danger zones as the evil energy increases their ability level and once the ability level increases it will strengthen and one will get stats which can be distributes in body attributes. Abilities too are ranked. MC is weird cuz he is obsessed with puzzles. He is born with 24th ranked ability, which is basically like Observe ( i forgot the game term ), the info he gets is random. Aint like normal Observe which only tells stats. This tells stats and also tells some stuff ( description ) like this guy is a mf ( said stuff is at random, stats arent said at random ). Overall this ability is fresh af. I like it. What makes it special is that MC makes this ability shine with his Sherlock Holmes skills. MC is like a moth to a flame to mysteries like how did world come to this ? Solving the depraved monsters and hence the zones, overall nice MC. Novel starts off with MC being transmigrated into a body of a guy the 4th and 3rd floor nobles would’ve sent along with other 1st floor low levels to a blue zone for blood entertainment. MC uses smart brains ( i like this mini arc ), gets out of situation against all odds, gets rescued after a tipoff by some noble to Investugation team (which has a conspiracy behind it), gets hired by said team cuz boi has skillz, team captain is a very strong and double digits rank ability holder with backing, an hinest dude who wants to lessen the gap between the floors. On first mission, MC solves this ‘game’ which wouldve been set for strong captain and opens up follow up games which were meant to toy with captain with end rewards being the whole secret behind the depraved ( some had been created by humans and history is basically erased ). What is weird is that said ‘game’ creator is a high level mysterious guy in the tower and has been involved in experiments 700 years back too which is impossibly long for a human to live and he is hence probably a depraved too. His goals and aspersions are unconfirmed, but hes basically evil and reminds me of Moriarty. Ive said way too much. Love this novel. It aint predictable, is fresh. I like it. Sometimes you feel like you can predict certain stuff like whos behind what etc, but sike its a trap, unpredictable plot in your face. Thank you for reading above horrible mess.
