　　He opened the box. Inside was a pink diamond on a white gold band, as extravagant and over the top as the flowers around them and the evening he had arranged. “If you don’t like it,” he started anxiously.

　　“Owen,” she put her good hand over his. “There is no girl alive that wouldn’t adore that ring,” she leaned forward and kissed him hard. “Yes, Owen. Yes, I will marry you. Yes, I want to renovate a house together again, though this time someone else is going to do the work. Yes, I want to make a home and raise a family with you. I want to sing with you, and tour with you, dodgy road food, bus toilets, stalkers, bad photos, and all. I am crazy in love with you, too.”

　　“Thank f-k, Emily,” he grinned and put the ring on her finger. “There,” he said with satisfaction. “Fiancé again.”

　　She laughed. “You really do prefer fiancé to boyfriend.”
